How can I download a torrent, if the seeders number is 0 (zero)?
Q. Can I download a torrent with 0 seeders?
Asked by Alin - Sat Mar 14 11:42:05 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Basically, you can't. It's possible that between all the leechers there is a complete copy, but it's unlikely. Your best option is to wait a while. Sometimes the seeder will not be able to seed all the time (maybe they switch their computer off at night). So just wait a couple of days and see if they come back. If they don't, go to the site you found the torrent on and see if there's a way to contact the original uploader. If there is, ask them (nicely) if they could seed again for a while. Offer to seed yourself when it's completed. If none of those work, you're out of luck and you'll just have to look elsewhere for the same thing.

Is 0/0 is equals to zero(0) or it is undefined?
Q. Our math teacher gave us a homework: Is 0/0 is equals to zero or undefined? We're studying integers for now, I know the rules and I know how to solve operations but I have this problem if 0 divided by 0 is 0 too or undefined. Help me please...also if the case is this: -3 divided by 0 = n What would be the answer? Can you please explain me about your answer?
Asked by Alexa Marie - Thu Aug 27 05:15:44 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Undefined. Any number divided by zero is undefined. Here's an example. I have 3 balloons but there are no children there for me to give the balloons to. If there is a child, I give it all to him. 2, each one-and-a-half balloons (if balloons could be split). 3, each one balloon. But zero? Impossible!

how does coke zero have 0 calories?
Q. is it healthy to drink? does it taste good?
Asked by yahoo's answer - Sun Feb 3 15:19:08 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Calories come from fat and sugar. Coke zero contains neither. Coke zero contains the artificial sweeteners aspartame and acesulfame potassium. There is no sucralose (splenda) in coke zero. These artificial sweeteners are approved by the FDA but some people have bad reactions to them. Others will tell you that they cause cancer and a wide variety of other ailments, but this remains unproven. I normally drink Diet Coke so Coke Zero tastes weird to me. To me, it does taste just like regular coke but someone that's used to regular coke may disagree.

Absolute zero property where a recorded value of '0' represents the absence of the variable's characteristic?
Q. Data may be classified by one of the four levels of measurement. Which one considers the absolute zero property where a recorded value of '0' represents the absence of the variable's characteristic? i said interval Why is that wrong and what should it be?
Asked by R - Mon Sep 8 19:49:57 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. I say it is ratio. In ratio measurement, a recorded value cannot be zero as if you say another value is double that recorded value, you would get into problems. Ratio scales have zero values that don't, even can't, represent measurements. They can, however, represent the lack thereof.

Math: If a population requires that each couple have 2.2 kids to maintain, how long until zero at 2.0/ couple?
Q. Say the population is 100,000,000 to start out with, and the average reproduction rate is only 2.0 children per couple. How long before that population dwindles down to zero?
Asked by ZBLOCKHEAD - Wed Oct 1 01:38:05 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. 2.0 / 2.2 = .909090, let's say .91 So the population would diminish by 9% each generation. 100 million * .91^x = 1 (can't get to 0 in any finite time) .91^x = 1/100 million x log .91 = log 1/100 million x = -8 /log.91 = 195.319 195 generations .91^195 = 1.03055578 10-8

A. Its not being recognized. Things to try. Try the drive on someone else's system and see if its doing the same. If it is, then the likelihood is that there is something wrong in the drives hardware for firmware. Reboot system with drive in place and see if it is being recognized in the bios (for instance, try booting from it - even if there is no operating system on it, if it tries to boot from it, then you know that your hardware is at least talking to it). Wait until your system is fully booted and all the loading is done, with the drive turned on, plug it in to a USB port. A. Yes they will, if you've been working there for the right period of time. Doesn't matter that you are on a zero hours contract. They will have to pay you 90% of your average pay for the first few weeks of maternity pay, then a set amount per week (170something pounds if I recall correctly) for the rest. They get this money back from the government anyway.

Q. I used to buy comics back in the mid 90s. However am not sure about before that but in the mid 90s they started having all this comics that would start off as issue 0? Why? A. Most likely it's a Pilot. It's there to test what people think. Therefore making it (if the comic series gets popular enough) it becomes greatly more than the first issue.

If the nutritional information for a certain food says "0 cholesterol", is there REALLY zero cholesterol?
Q. For instance, a bag of Buttered Popcorn... is there REALLY zero cholesterol?
Asked by ZER0 C00L AM VT SCOFF - Sat Oct 20 14:58:21 2007 - - 3 Answers - 3 Comments
A. Both the above answers are right. Any food that contains no animal products contains no cholesterol, because only animals produce cholesterol. However dietary cholesterol usually only makes a relatively small contribution to your blood cholesterol levels. Dietary saturated fat (which can be from plant or animal origin) is usually more relevant. A food that's loaded with palm or coconut oil contains no cholesterol itself, but will increase your blood cholesterol (and other harmful lipid) levels. The advertisers are technically correct, but deceptive.
