How do i get the airbag light that is flashing in my dashboard turned off?
Q. the airbag light is flashing on my dashboard how do i get it off. i dont even know why it came on after i had a new battery installed, nothing was flashing, but i stopped to get gas, and after i started the car again it started flashing. the car is a nissan sentra '96

A. you cant do it your self unless you have the diagnostics tools available best to take it to your auto electrician. Also if it came on after you changed the battery it could just be a blown circuit. Go into your circuit box and it will be named airbags take the fuse out and see if it is blown.
