Q. I moved to NC in 2004. I had very few friends since. I'm 17. Is it too late to cure my slight antisocial behavior. I never had a girlfriend. I have very few friends who are girls. I just don't know how to get friends. I feel like that kid who shot up Virginia Tech. I just don't have suicidal thoughts. I searched his condition and I have some of those conditions.

A. First, I wouldn't call it antisocial. Antisocial tends to mean that you are rude, and it doesn't sound like you are like that at all. Not having many friends is nothing new, it's a problem a lot of people have. You'll probably be going to college in a year or two. When you get to college, you'll find that things are very different. You'll find lots of friends. Having some of the same conditions as someone does not mean that you are like them or will end up like them.
