How much calculus do I need to pass the Praxis II math exam for math teachers?
Q. I don't think the Praxis test at a glance is really that clear. It looks to me like one semester of calculus, plus four years of high school math, is all you need to pass the Praxis II math teachers exam. Is that true?

A. If you have a good first semester calculus course including integration, that is all the calculus you need. However, you will also need a little matrix algebra, probability and statistics, and finite math, and many people don't get these subjects in high school. You also need to handle a few calculations on the graphing calculator. I would suggest you look into www.praxisiimath.com for some good but hard practice problems.
