Is the difference between order and chaos simply awareness?
Q. Will we see order in seeming chaos if we are aware of the structures of order within chaos? Does the mind endow chaos with order simply by observation? Does memory play a significant part in this process? Does the knowledge of something change our relationship to it? Does the knowldge of something change our relationship to reality at large?

The only modification I made in the incomplete paragraph is deletion of information. Chaos can arise organization and rational causality. Question organization and causality shall mean information. The difference between order and chaos is simply awareness. Awareness chaos are important. Individual with order then might view chaotically. If an individual performs with chaos then an observer might view the performance orderly. Awareness plays a role that one observer views the performance to be orderly. What is the difference between random and chaos?
Q. I understand that random relates to a situation where you have a number of possible outcomes which can not be specifically predicted beforehand - such as rolling a dice. That's not really what I'm wondering about. What I'm wondering is how random and chaos factor into things like the formation of a solar system. Are they both factors; is one a subset of the other? Is there another word/concept that would be better suited to something so large and complex?
Asked by Justin H - Mon Aug 10 04:43:27 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Words like random and chaos are often used to represent activity in a closed or limited system. The decay of radioactive atoms is, for example, random when looking at a few atoms. But it is often the case that in larger aggregates, these apparently random actions 'average' into a very precisely predictable outcome. And so, while at the smallest scale, we cannot use cause and effect reasoning, on a larger sale, we can do that with great reliability. The case of the formation of the solar system is an excellent example of a situation where, while there are many dimensions of random actions: random particle temperatures, random particle motion - we can treat the entire system as a very stable and predictable distribution of mass and energy.… [cont.]

A. Nothing in the original it just means that once you have completed the game you have "fully" completed the game. In Sonic the Hedgehog 2 you can turn Super Sonic it goes REALLY fast and some times hard to control ;D

Can chaos theory be explained to middle schoolers?
Q. I have to do a "creative project" (equating to a five page academic paper) involving one of the topics covered in class, and one of those topics is chaos theory. I am thinking about writing a comic book type of thing that would demystify chaos theory and go into some of the implications, but would it be kind of difficult to explain to middle or even high schoolers the implications of "sensitive dependence on initial conditions" in an interesting way? Also, any suggestions?
Asked by jillybee - Sat Apr 25 14:30:56 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. There are plenty of everyday situations that are both sensitive to initial conditions and would make a great story. For example: -winning the lottery (if you hadn't changed the number at the last second before buying the ticket, you wouldn't have won) -losing control of a car and going to the hospital (if you had just left the house a second sooner, the cat crossing the street that caused the crash would have been easily avoided) Chaos is a part of everyday life, and I am sure middle schoolers already have a good informal idea about what it is.

A. The mathematical basis of Chaos Theory is the same as the mathematical basis of fractals. So in essence, fractals are visual representations of mathematical equations that describe physical systems in Choas Theory.

A. You have to trade them to another player. You can't use the internet; it has to be in person. I forget exactly how that works, because I've never actually met someone else who played! Leveling up your chao increases whatever effect they might have, usually, or improves the outcome somehow. Any bonuses they provide wll be increased.

He's the spearhead of any CSM army, ready to scare the cr*p out of your opponents and make even the toughest Warboss think twice about that "run" move and take a second look at the nearest cover. Don't be afraid to tool him up for some serious assault. These characters specialize in picking off isolated enemy characters, especially if they have either a jump pack or a bike. Alternatively, you can pack them in with a nice, big CSM squad and send him into dish out the hurt, with the accompanying marines acting as ablative wounds. But once he's sorted, you've got to max up your Troops choices. Any CSM army, right down to just 500 points, should be able to field a… [cont.]
