Does anyone know the steps you would take to get the answer?

A. Al3+ + 3OH- ---> Al(OH)3 Mg2+ + 2NO3- ---> Mg(NO3)2 2F- + Ca2+ ---> CaF2 Mg2+ + SO42- ---> MgSO4 (sulfate not sulfur) Cl- + Li+ ---> LiCl you just need to look at the respective charges on the atoms/compounds. for example fluorine has one negative charge, but calcium has two positive charges, so you need two fluorine atoms for every calcium atom to balance the charges.
