A. f(x)=1/(x+1) f^2(x)= f(f(x)) = 1/(f(x) + 1) = 1/(1/(x+1) + 1) = 1/((x+2)/(x+1)) = (x+1) / (x+2) f^3(x)= f^2(f(x)) = [f(x) + 1]/[f(x) + 2] = [(x+2)/(x+1)] /[(2x + 3)/(x+1)] = (x+2)/(2x+3)
