Our cat is ignoring her kitten- what to do?
Q. About 3 weeks ago, our cat Chica gave birth to a litter of one kitten, Uno; however, recently she's begun to ignore him and won't let him nurse. We've been trying to feed him a kitten baby formula out of a dropper, but he won't try it and panics when anyone holds him. Could somebody help me out? note: this is Chica's second litter, and the first one (they're 4 months now) had two kittens which she nursed fine

A. First of all you are best to get the kitten checked out by a vet. Not to panic you, but sometimes mother cats will sometimes neglect a kitten that they sense is ill or for a variety of other reasons, such as if they themselves are ill or their milk has gone. Secondly, have you tried stimulating him? Kittens do not urinate or produce feces by themselves, the mother cat stimulates this by licking the area... I would suggest you use a lukewarm damp q tip or paper towel to gently wipe the area. Be prepared for the results! Not too pleasant, but important since at three weeks the kitten is still too small to do this itself. Q. iv been looking at hair formula 37? on ebay they are 60 but thats alot a month for only a promise of an inch a month and its alot for a little uno? any help would be loved!!! <3

A. You can't MAKE it grow but you can help it grow healthy so that you don't have to cut so much of it off. There are many ways to keep your hair healthy, like limiting your use of dryers, straighteners, curlers and build up from using products. You should also, take a multi vitamin as well. I know a lot of people who took prenatel vitamins just for the benefits of good hair and nails. The best advice i can give is to not waste money on things that promise to make your hair grow because in the end the only thing that will do it is time. Good luck.
