help with making games and puzzles for a cereal box project?
Q. My assignment is to make a cereal box themed civil war, mainly Admiral Farragut. I have to put 5 games/puzzles. I did a crossword and word search, does anyone have any ideas what else I can do? Thanks

A. ok, a good math problem that most people will get wrong is one i read in a book called "the curious incident of the dog in the night time" the question is, if you are on a game show and there are three doors in front of you, there is a goat behind two of them (a bad thing) and a car behind one of them (a good thing - change them to a pile of cash or a dung heap or wateva if u want). You choose one, you have no way of knowing which is which. Then the game show host opens a diferent door from the one you chose and shows you it is a goat. You have the option to switch to the other door and keep what is behind that, or stick withyour original choice. Now, here's the math part, most people think that you now have a 50/50 chance, they are wrong. [cont.]

Well i am not sure this is excactly wat u look for, but try Dmag it has comppetitions, puzzles,gossip, it has a page where there is the game of the day for computer, nintendo, ds, etc. If you subscribe you get a beach ball, and if you buy a magazine, with everyone, their is a bouncy ball, and they are in differnt shapes, and if you get the diamond one which is REALLY rare, you get something. Comps include: Writing small storie comp Prize: 1000 dollars and it IS for kids. Dreamworld, lots of fun places and things for ds and stuff. I have gotten 71 and all ready LOV EIT! I have all ready oone somethin!!!

A. You can find any number of puzzle games for the PC. I enjoy Backgammon, Checkers, Reversi and Sudoku. Sometimes I play card games. Personally, I love The Sims. A. In Mario 3 on NES if you press down for 5 seconds on a white platform you go through the ground and you're able to walk in the background all the way through the level. If you do that on level 1 you can go behind the black background at the end of the level and get a warp whistle.

Q. I've always enjoyed crossword and other word puzzles. I've filled some of my free time with Y/A and not spent as much time on puzzles or reading fiction lately. I don't buy puzzle books anymore unless I'm traveling.

A. I go to Big Fish Games and download word games for about an hour and play those until time runs out. My favorite after crossword puzzles is Bookworm Deluxe. I was playing one day and found a word with 12 letters and when I put it into the game space and hit enter it gave me 50,000 points. In one hour I got 113,800 points. I thought that was pretty good. When time is up I just delete the game from the system. I also go to Game House and Arcade Town and do the same thing. But my favorite games as of today are the Hidden Object games. And I still read quite a bit too.
