In Islam, Jesus (Arabic: عيسى‎ `Īsā) is considered a messenger of God who had been sent to guide the Children of Israel (banī isrā'īl) with a new scripture, the Injīl (gospel). The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be God's final revelation, states that Jesus was born to Mary (Arabic: Maryam) as the result of virginal conception, a miraculous event which occurred by the decree of God (Arabic: Allah). To aid him in his quest, Jesus was given the ability to perform miracles, all by the permission of God. According to Islamic texts, Jesus was neither killed nor crucified, but rather he was raised alive up to heaven. Islamic traditions narrate that he will return to Earth near the day of judgment to restore justice and defeat al-Masīḥ ad-Dajjāl (lit. "the false messiah", also known as the Antichrist). Like all prophets in Islam, Jesus is considered to have been a Muslim, as he preached for people to adopt the straight path in submission to God's will. Islam rejects that Jesus was God incarnate or the son of God, stating that he was a mortal man who, like other prophets, had been divinely chosen to spread God's message. Islamic texts forbid the association of partners with God (shirk), emphasizing the notion of God's divine oneness (tawhīd). Numerous titles are given to Jesus in the Qur'an, such as al-Masīḥ ("the messiah; the anointed one" i.e. by means of blessings), although it does not correspond with the meaning accrued in Christian belief. Jesus is seen in Islam as a precursor to Muhammad, and is believed by Muslims to have foretold the latter's coming.

Q. 153. The People of the Scripture ask of thee that thou shouldst cause an (actual) Book to descend upon them from heaven. They asked a greater thing of Moses aforetime, for they said: Show us Allah plainly. The storm of lightning seized them for their wickedness. Then (even after that) they chose the calf (for worship) after clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) had come unto them. And We forgave them that! And We bestowed on Moses evident authority. 154. And We caused the Mount to tower above them at (the taking of) their covenant: and We bade them: Enter the gate, prostrate! and we bade them : Transgress not the Sabbath! and We took from them a firm covenant. 155. Then because of their breaking of their covenant, and their disbelieving in… [cont.]

A. yes but also remember that when Allah speaks of the punishment you have to understand clearly that he's speaking of those Jews at the time of the prophets (Moses and David) who did all that stuff, there still was good Jews who followed the words of God and those are amongst the righteous!! even today if a Jew accepts the Quran as a divine revelation and believes that Muhammed (pbuh) is a prophet of God and follows THEIR true teachings and Laws, i say they too are among the righteous and will be rewarded.!!!

All. and especially Atheist anti-Christian and Bible opponents. Christian view too. Can you answer?
Q. I see a lot of Christian and Bible bashing going on. Is this done because you want to irritate a Christian? Is it done just to devalue, question the authonticity, truth, history, and meaning in the Bible? Q. Is this done just against Christians and the Bible? Or, is it intended against ALL faiths and all major religions? Do you reject the Islamic faith? Was Allah/Muhammad fabricared & not who and what claimed to be? Do you reject the Muslem faith like you reject Christianity? If so, why don't we see much of that going on? Looks like it's about 10 Christian bashing to 1 of other faiths. Why? Are you AFRAID of something? Why is Jesus the FSM and no such indignation to great figures of other faiths? Can you believe in Muslem, Buddhism,… [cont.]

A. People can all gather around bashing Christianity. All the other religions hate Christians. Kind of the enemy of my enemies are my friends. And islam teaches to covert or kill the infidels. Or is that too much for your unholy, God thrashing ears. One of these days you will bow your knee to Jesus. Will you do it as an or in judgment. Also, I am not sure why the bashers say Christians do not believe in science. The Bible has printed scientific truths that science just discovered. Such as : washing your hands in running water, the earth is ROUND, and pork is bad for the human body. Get a grip and stop regurgitating what other idiots have spouted out in ignorance. If you are going to bash the BOOK, at least read it first.
