Any archery tournament is open to anyone to enter, but usually there's a fee. There are some local free tournament if you can find a club near you, for instance at our range we have a league night where we compete for bragging rights. Head over to www.usarchery.org and look up under the JOAD programs for a range near you. I do know that Ohio is a hotbed of archery activity, tons of good archers come out from Ohio.
