It doesn't really deal with computers in today's sense though, the same thing goes for Virtual War, which is another computer-realted futuristic story. The only other thing I can think of is a book called Head Games. It's is about two kids who become unlikely friends after meeting through an online role-playing game. It's by Mariah Fredericks, and is reccomended for 7th grade and up.
