A degree in instructional technology?
Q. I am thinking about seeking a M.ED in instructional technology with an emphasis as a library media specialist. If I choose not to work in the school system do you think I could find other jobs with this degree? If so what type of job and in what industry? Thanks.

A. I'm actually looking to get my doctorate in this area. Most programs have a choice of getting that degree with an emphasis on the teaching side. If I were you, I'd consider that route. Every corporation has instructional technologists, but the media specialist side won't help you.
