Are school required to make vegetarian meals?
Q. My school has nothing vegetarian, and I won't get to eat anything. Also I don't want to bring food to school, because every time anybody I know brings food to school, they never even get to eat it because other people ask for some or want. Some stupid people even steal it if you don't give them, or they'll just follow you around and beg even if they hardly know you. No, it's only meat. =/ Even salads have like chicken in it or something.

A. It depends on the school boards decision wheather they serve vegetarian or not. My school didn't serve anything either but they did have peanut butter and jelly which isn't vegan but it was the closest thing I could find. They normally cost more than a meal with meat though so I suppose that tells you about the quality of meat. I would suggest you bring your own food but don't let those stupid people talk you into giving them your food and keep an eye on your lunch box so they don't take it. You can also write to the school board asking that they offer one or two vegetarian options. Make sure you tell them this would satisy people with religous beliefs against eating certain meats and help with those on diets for high blood pressure… [cont.]
