How is agriculture in the South different from the agriculture in the Northeast?
Q. How is agriculture in the South different from the agriculture in the Northeast?
Asked by Joshie! =] - Tue Apr 7 11:37:43 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. In the South, a wider variety of crops can be grown due to the type of climate we have. Because of the longer growing season and warmer climate, some crops that can be grown in the North, can also be grown in the South- like corn or hay or wheat, etc. Also, with the growing season/s being longer, like the other person said- in the South, two crops can be grown usually, while in the North, only one b/c of the harsh winters.
