Does anyone have any fun and super creative lesson plans for beginning tech 1 theatre?
Q. I am teaching three tech 1 units this year and am running a bit short on exciting and engaging lesson plans for my beginning tech class. What I am specifically in need of consists of units centered around set design, construction, & painting; rigging; special fx; and production. I am looking for activities and lessons that are unusual. Any description or link would be helpful, thank you.

A. Hey there again! Remember me?? I would suggest having them first of all design a set for a certain setting. place or time, you know, something like outer space, or the wild west, that they can really imagine a lot of different things. Like a paper and ink sketch. Once their paper and ink is finished, take one sketch and have the class have fun designing a scale model for that set. Watch closely if there's anything to be changed about how they work (too much paint, hammering to close to edges). You can do this multiple days, with different peoples pictures to liven things up a little! Where can I find pre-written lesson plans for the text books I use in school?
Q. I do not want "ideas" for teaching. I would like to find a site where teachers have posted their lessons plans for the same books as I have. I wanna copy them!

A. Most lesson plans are available through the publisher and can be downloaded from the publishers website assuming you have your password. You may also request a DVD with lesson plans, test banks, and PowerPoint presentations to go along with your text.

A. in math we learn about how 2 reduce and add fractions in science we learn about air masses and things like that in english we are learning about how to make a paragraph with a topic sentence and everything in social studies we are learning about different countries
