A. You need to generate the actual list, or just find how many combinations there are? There are 6*5*4*3*2*1 = 720 combinations.

Q. I have to do a project for school and I want to make a graph of how the dolphin population has increased/decreased in the past 10 or 20 years. Does anybody have any numbers? And if they've increased, why are they still considered endangered? I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
Asked by Hereigns56 - Mon Apr 20 16:05:11 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I'm having a hard time getting solid figures for the dolphin population. From what I read on the websites I found it sounds like even the experts are having a hard time answering that question. Most sources I saw said they don't know how many dolphins are living in the wild. I found a few numbers on the sea world website but their newest data was from 1995. Good luck with your project.

Can you block specific numbers from calling your cell phone?
Q. Landlines used to have *60/call screen which would automatically reject calls from the last caller. I know it could go to voicemail, but is there a way to stop someone from getting through completely? Is there a feature like this for cell phones? It's actually personal calls and/or unknown callers.. not companies.

A. Yes you can get call block for cell phones. It will probably completely block calls where the id is unavailable.

How does someone calculate the weight of a car given very specific numbers?
Q. If given the tire pressure and the area that each tire is in contact with the ground, how would one go about calculating the weight of the car?
Asked by Katherine - Mon Aug 31 18:29:00 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The amt of weight supported by a tire = the pressure x the area of contact it makes with the road. Add each force (calculated as above) for all the four tires to get the weight of the vehicle.

A. Panasonic! It's the latest 5.8GHz model on their website, the one with the color display and talking caller ID. I bought it last summer and I am VERY pleased with the features. I discovered that ring thing by accident. Luckily, I had it set to ring when my Parents called. Everyone else was on silent.

Q. I have a lg Prada phone KE850
Asked by T H - Fri May 29 03:00:20 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You have to do it through the cell phone company. I have this old lady that calls my phone everyday leaving voicemails on my phone cussing me out thinking I am her nephew james. I called the phone company and asked them if their was a *number or something i can dial to block the number and they said no. They can charge you 14.99 and you can block up to 20 phone numbers or you can pay anywhere from $30-50 dollars depending on where you live and what kind of phone to get a number change. I hate to cuss the old lady out but i keep telling her she has the wrong number and she will not stop calling. good luck cause i understand.

Asked by hello - Sun Jul 29 03:01:38 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You'll need the following: 1. A degree in interior design. It's not just about creating beautiful spaces; it's about safety. You'll have to learn about toxicity and flammability, as well as other safety issues. You'll also have to learn CAD. Make sure you go to an accredited school. 2. A license. Some states do not require this, but it's a good idea, anyway. 3. Contacts, referrals and a portfolio. To get all three of these, it is best to start with an established interior design company. Once you have done all three of these, you may want to think about starting your own company. While you're in school, it is also a good idea to take some business courses. Should you need to borrow money for start up costs, a sound financial plan is… [cont.]

How do I block specific phone numbers off my home phone?
Q. There are these telemarketers that keep calling every few minutes and even when I pick up the phone they still call back later. I need to get rid of them.
Asked by Nat - Wed Aug 16 15:06:45 2006 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. call your phone company and see if they can put a block on the numbers you want. Otherwise, register for the donotcall.gov list. But remember, it doesn't stop religious groups or policiticans. Another thing that works is if you tell them to stop calling and get the name and time you've called. If they keep calling, report them to donotcall.gov and they can be prosecuted.

A. No, although you can make a good guess at the year a person first registered for NIC, which is normally at 16, by the first two letters. For example, I believe that YP means people born around 1950.

Q. Name the property of real numbers illustrated below. Be specific with the naming (include of addition or of multiplication, if applicable). (-9)(8) = (8)(-9) I never did this before so Im guessing (-9) would be a higher value=-negative 9? base on the real number line- I have no clue ?
Asked by nicole_dougl - Tue Apr 29 22:08:21 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. This is called the "Commutative property of multiplication". You can remember this because 1)it is multiplication 2) when you commute, you go from home to work and then work to home. When you look at the problem it looks like home to work=work to home. All this property is saying is that you can change the order of the numbers when you multiply and it doesn't change the outcome. -9 time 8 is the same thing as 8 times -9. The same is true when we commute to work. The distance is the same even though we have chaned the direction in which we are traveling. I hope that helps you remember. If you would like clues to help you remember the other properties, just ask.

Asked by Larry B - Sun Aug 24 22:45:15 2008 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You can get Smart Limits. This add on service lets you block people from calling you and texting you. Call customer care to get the service. Some phones have an option called a rejection list. It would be under call settings if you have this option. You would simply add the number to the rejection list and the call wouldn't go through. Actually the caller just goes straight to voice mail. If you do not have the rejection list, then assign a silent ringtone to the person. That way the person calls, you won't hear them calling. You can just ignore the call. You also change your number if you wish to go that far. You also tell the person that every call and text is now being forward to the police. That should hopefully scare them and then… [cont.]

Blackberry Curve / Want to block specific numbers.?
Q. I have the Blackberry Curve and I have the Berryblocker installed. However, it seems to be useless and will only block all calls or nothing at all. I can't truly specify that I want certain numbers to be blocked. Does anyone know if there is an option within Blackberry, where I can block numbers specifically?
Asked by Talkstress - Sun Dec 9 13:21:54 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Hello; There is no feature within the BlackBerry OS that will allow you to block a number. But there certainly is something that you can do. If you want to have the call blocked so that number will never connect to your BlackBerry, you will need to contact your cell carrier and ask them to provide the blocking. You can expect to pay for your carrier to do this. Hope this helps!
