How can I make candied walnuts like the ones in the Waldorf salad at california pizza kitchen?
Q. I'm trying to make a salad that has the same taste of the nuts as the candied walnuts in the Waldorf salad. Can anyone help me with this?

Both these recipes are great! <3 Carmelized Walnuts Ingredients: 1 cup sugar 4 tablespoons water 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup toasted walnuts 2 ounces honey Preparation: In a saute pan over low flame add sugar and water, mix it well and allow to cook until sugar melts and gets golden brown in color. Calgary Waldorf School for Kindergarten- What do you think of it?
Q. We are thinking of putting our son into Calgary Waldorf school for junior Kindergarten. He will be 5 year Sept. I have been doing some research on it and it seems pretty good but I am still a little skeptical. Not sure about the idea of delaying his ability to read for so long. Waldorf/Southern Maryland are at least 10-20 years away from getting public transportation services like that in parts of Prince George's County and D.C. One idea is see if you can car pool with a co-worker. If that is possible, you should be willing to kick out some gas money. Try doing a posting on Craigslist.org to find someone to car pool with. Never however get into a car pool with someone who is not trustworthy.

Remember that the fee doesn't cover all the extras like transportation, field trips and activity fees, and so on. As far as, "Do I have a child who has attended a Waldorf school?", the answer is no. But I did student teach in one and have worked in a few others. There are things that I really like about the method, and things that I really, really dislike. I love the way they teach academic concepts with art and music and wish I could learn more about teaching this way, but do not agree with the philosophy as a whole.
