Two part question...about Abu Dhabi?
Q. #1. Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to have a part-time maid? (working around 20-30 hrs a week) A. Are maids on average, trustworthy, reliable? #2. I am looking to join a golf club in Abu Dhabi, but my wife does not play golf. Are there any clubs in Abu Dhabi that have a good fitness room, swimming pool, and also golf course? I already know about the Sheraton in Abu Dhabi...but there's a waiting list for the Golf Membership. Anywhere else? And do you know the price for memberships? Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to our move to Abu Dhabi...

Box 11828 , Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi I do not know about Gyms, Fitness rooms, swimming pools etc, but go to the link giving below and you'll find a contact adress: If you hire a maid hourly, it will be more expensive then hiring a live in maid. Q. Ok, so I will be traveling to visit the beautiful city of Abu Dhabi in August inshAllah. And I will be staying at Al Raha Beach Resort. I have never been there but I hear it is nice and I can t wait to come visit. It will take me 17 hours by airplane to get to there from America, uggghhh!! But I am excited! :) So for all the people who have traveled to Abu Dhabi or for those who live in Abu Dhabi I have some basic questions: 1) Where is a good place to go to exchange American dollars for UAE Dirhams? Is it better to exchange at the airport, a hotel, a bank? Who gives the better and most honest/fair exchange? 2) What taxis are the best to take? A. 1. the best rates you will get at exchange places like Ansari. They can be found in all malls. 2. There is no fare for locals and non locals. The cheapest cabs are the white/gold/green ones. Their meter is running on kms only. Then you have the silver grey ones whose meter is running on kms and time and Al Ghazar, etc which are much more expensive and mostly used by hotels. 3. I do not know, but these places are close by Al Raha Beach Hotel. 4. To go to Dubai you can take a cab which will cost (depending on the time you'll go) around Dhs 300 - Dhs 400. You also can take the RTA bus for Dhs 20, but you would have to take a cab first to go from Al Raha Beach to the bus station in Abu Dhabi. 5. The bus service in Abu Dhabi is cheap and… [cont.]
