How many people have been wrongly accused and executed up to now?
Q. I'm arguing my case about the death penalty, and I want to know how many people have been wrongly accused AND executed up until now. If you can include a website and it's valid information you'll get best answer.

A. 700 cases have been overturned for DNA evidence that proved they were innocent even after being convicted. 150 of them were murder crimes, with the defendant being on death row. Some were exonerated after the execution. Add-on: I know my figures are correct, based on research I had done myself when I was younger and still in school. But I don't remember where I got that info, which is why I have not posted one that says what I put down. I did find these two sites, so if you'd like to go with their info instead that would be a good idea. But the point is, it was a h*ll of a lot more than 2 people being wrongfully convicted. Not that it matters, one is too much.
