Airbag warning light on 2003 Ford Focus?
Q. I have a 2003 Ford Focus and after a couple of minutes the airbag warning light starts to flash and then stays on constant. I have taken car to official ford dealer and they are unable to find any fault? Any ideas what the problem can be?

Why is my airbag warning light on?
Q. My car (a 92 supra) has almost 200,000 miles. The airbag light suddenly came on. What would prompt this after years and years of nothing at all? How can I make it quit without taking the dash out and unplugging it or disabling the airbag (not something I want to do). thanks, Kevin

A. This can happen for many reasons. In my experience it happens when the voltage in the alternator has dropped. You run the risk of stalling out with a dead battery. Run, do not walk to R&S Strauss and get a free computer diagnosis of the problem. Do not ignore this. It could be the airbag but probably not.

A. Like others have said it's a circuit failure in the airbag/SRS system. Chances are it's an occupancy sensor in the seats or seatbelt sensor gone bad. BMW shops and the dealer should have a scanning tool that will tell them the exact location of the fault and they can fix it for you. The SRS system is not a good one for do-it-yourselfers. SAFETY: Your airbags MAY or MAY NOT deploy in a collision. They may or not deploy at the proper stage (on 2 stage bags) or time to protect you.

How do you reset SRS airbag warning light?

Renault Espace Airbag Warning Light Problem?

A. might need a new control module-ebay! has the car been bumped-even if you change the airbag the light will stay on until you replace/clear the code on the control module shouldn't fail it should only be an advisory

A. Go to www.bimtronics.com. I had the same problem apparently it is very common, i spoke to bmw and they recommended buying a module to replace the mat. It fits under the seat and is a better alternative to replacing the mat (as it is likely to break againg and again). Bmw don't make them but the best one they recommended was at www.bimtronics.com. I bought it and i have had no problems since, i know how annoying the warning light is, but fitting the module will get rid of it and enable all the airbags. good luck

A. have you knocked the front of the car on a wall and not noticed?if so, you may have dislodged the sensor, in which case you will have to take the grill/bumper off and replace it in its bracket. this can be a sod to refit so patience is the order of the day.otherwise, get the unit checked by a dealer,which should not cost you more than ten or twenty quid.

I have a 99 Ford Explorer. For the last 6 months, my ABS & airbag warning lights have been on. How to fix?
