A. Best hotel in Baguio is in Camp John Hay Manor Hotel. When you go out of the hotel, you can breathe in the nice view, play golf, or just walk around the area hand in hand. Around P3000 for the two of you. Hotel Veniz is also ok because it's right smack in the middle of the city. A very short walk away is the Burnham Park, the market and Session Road. Q. I'm planning on a really long vacation (bout a month) , and dont want to break the bank. Could anyone point me to a cheap place...not really like cockroach-leisurely-walki n-around-cheap but AC, clean, nice bath n bed would sufffice. FYI $50 is not really cheap!! Thanks !

Q. Ok I have stated at el rico and Makati Prime Towers. El rico was ok I guess but to much for the quality and the a/c did not work well. The Makati had roaches and the bed squeeked a lot :-). I would really appreciate any places that are 29 - 40 that is in makati or Quezon City thank you Duane

A. Alabang is quite a distance from Ortigas so you really have to choose just one. But if you want to stay somewhere it is accessible to both areas then you best stay in Makati. There are quite a number of serviced apartments you can choose from which will be safe for kids. There's Discovery Suites and Linden Suites in the Ortigas Area, Oakwood Premier and Fraser Place in Makati City, or the Bellevue in Alabang. You can try Trip Advisor for unbiased reviews by actual travellers, or Asia Rooms for other rates.
