How hard is the ateneo college entrance test for transfer students? and how many students can be accepted?
Q. I've taken the acet last year(sept 15 2007) for school year 2008-2009 but unfortunately, i failed to pass the said exam so i enrolled in my 2nd choice school but i'm planning to take acet for transfer students next year(for school year 2009-2010) and if i pass i will transfer in ateneo

Q. I just wondered if anyone could tell me more about Ateneo. ~__~ So far, i haven't know anything about this university yet. I just heard that it's really hard to enter into the Ateneo. A. Usually their entrance exams take place months before summer time. I'm not so sure if they're still offering the entrance exam by now (you might want to call them for this thing). And yes, Ateneo de Manila has the hardest entrance exam in the entire Philippines (at least that's what they told me :P) but with a lot of studying and hard work, you can do it! Most of their questions are essays... so you might want to improve your english? Oh, and Ateneo is the best place to study law and it's facilities is very, very good! :)

So here I'll probably write about the UPCAT and some general tips for all college entrance exams in general. The UPCAT is quite similar with the ACET and DLSUCET. A. you should apply for as many as u want because u can never be sure,, and this way if u get accepted into all then u can choose the one you most desire,, or u might limit it to the top 3 or 5 u want to get into and only apply for those but just in case , i would say apply for em all. hope this helps =] and good luck getting in!

Q. i just missed both entrance exams... may chance pa ba mag bukas ang college application for freshman in both universities??? kung wala.. what should i do???

A. Ask the Admissions Office of both schools. Kung walang announced extension, chances for reconsideration will be practically nil, because the application period was long and forgiving. Everything was announced on their respective websites well before the start of the application period. Furthermore, most private high schools announce application periods, requirements and procedures, and even get forms from the top colleges in your behalf. Check the application period of other schools as well, and do it asap. You don't want to miss all the boats entirely. There are so very many HS seniors who apply within the specified period, and only a certain percentage who will pass, simply because there is a limit to freshman population that… [cont.]

I really want to get into Ateneo De Manila university, and my school isn't very known but it's legal! :D and My grades are like an 83 average and some of the seniors I really look up to have passed this dreaded exam and seeing my grades in high school, how well do I have to do in the Entrance exam to get in? This really makes me nervous, look what I've read on they're website How do I prepare for the ACET? You mean you haven t prepared yet? Then what were all those years in lower, middle, and high school for? Seriously speaking, taking a college review seminar or buying one of those tester books won t really mean anything unless you have a decent background already. A. You can always try. Don't let what you've read deter you from applying. An 83 average isn't bad...It's not the best, but not bad either. The worst case scenario is you may have to attend a local community college for a semester and get A's to prove to them your serious about education. That will weigh more than h.s. Good Luck.

A. A LOT on English, Math and Grammar. I think English was 100 items, and Math was sooo hard! You also have to prepare for an essay that will be given on the last part of the test. I'm not really sure, but as far as I can remember, Science was not included in the test. Grabe! nag-review pa ko! haha... Just be prepared...lalo na yung Math, pamatay! Try mo rin sa UST, ayun pumasa ako...haha
