A. Travel time would depend on the day of travel, the time of travel, the mode of transportation, and the traffic conditions. I would recommend that you take the LRT from Monumento ( Caloocan ) station to the Gil Puyat station. Then take a jeep or a bus to Ayala Avenue, Makati City. Have a nice day !

A. You have a wonderful grasp of communication. If I were you I would dig a hole and lay in it. I would ask people walking by to help cover the hole by throwing the dirt back in said hole. Thank You

What's the best way to get to the JMBC Building in Makati?
Q. I need to go to the JMBC Building at Zanzibar cor. Rockefeller in Makati City tomorrow morning, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. I'm coming from Quezon Avenue and will be taking the MRT, but do I get down at Ayala or Magallanes? And what should I ride after I get down at the station? Please help!
Asked by eL - Mon Jul 20 05:26:43 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The best way to get there is to take MRT from Quezon Avenue. Don't get off at either Ayala or Magallanes station. Transfer to LRT-1 at Taft-EDSA interchange going north. Get off at Libertad station, which is the next station going north. Outside the station are jeepney terminals. Take a jeepney plying the Libertad-Washington route. The jeepney route will go east on Pasay Rd (Arnaiz Ave.). Left on Edison. Right on Rockefeller and left on Batangas. You want to get off at the corner of Rockefeller & Batangas. Zanzibar corner is another 200-m down Rockefeller, which I'm sure you can walk. It is the second street from Batangas. The first street is Gen Recarte. Good luck!

Q. Hi, Please help me. I am looking for a cheap (but decent) dorm/pensione/hostel within Gil Puyat/Buendia and Makati Avenue area... My daily room budget is Ps500 (maximum). Thank you. Jane I will be staying in Manila for a maximum of one week (maybe 4 days on first visit and 3 days on the second visit). My daily budget for accommodation is Ps 500, a total of Ps3,500 for one week. Thank you for the initial replies...
Asked by Ms. Jane - Wed Jan 2 04:00:54 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. You said your DAILY budget is P500, that means P15,000 per month. With that you can rent a one-bedroom condominium unit. Ther are a couple of Cityland condos at the corner of Buendia and South Super. Some of these are not labeled Cityland, but Makati Executive Towers or something. You can rent cheaper, by renting a studio instead of a one-bedroom unit. That should go for P7,000 plus electricity and water. Negotitate with your agent that the monthly dues be for the account of the unit owner.

A. Tepishane, You do it the same way you do with writing to one of your friends. Upper left hand corner is YOU and the middle of the envelope is THEM. Try not to use funny little stamps when you do. Many publisher find it very amateurish. Use like, Statue of Liberty, The Libery Bell, The American Flag. If you're from another country, use the same type of stamp, but of course use things that are important to your country. I learned this a long time ago when I first started writing. Good Luck! PJ M

Glorietta 1 in Makati just got bombed this afternoon?
Q. Our office is in Makati and we kept on hearing the wailing of sirens. It turned out that Glorietta 1, a mall in Makati, just got bombed. We are just a stone's throw away from Glorietta as we are in Ayala Avenue but I really don't know the details. Does anybody know anything about it? I found this news online: but it doesn't have much info. I hope it wasn't that bad... Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. thanks, khushi. nice nick. last i heard, 3 were dead... geez, and to think we almost always eat in glorietta. god, i'd hate to think what this means, economy and security-wise. the repercussions will be terrible. i have the latest update: it's not a bomb. it was an LPG tank that exploded... whew! thank heavens.… [cont.]

A. as of 6:30pm today, - it is in Glorietta 2 - yes, it is due to a bomb, not lpg - 8 dead, 89njured Glorietta 2 is severely damaged. Effect of the blast reached the G/F of Park Square 2 and up to the 3rd floor of G2. Even ripping the roof off in some portions. It is the most inhuman thing a person could do. Those responsible should be sentenced to death 10X over!!!. I am really appalled! Why can't we all just move forward together? Why are there still people bent on pulling down the country's growth? Are they even aware of the effects of what they are doing? I am just thankful that this did not happen during rush hours or during weekends.
