Q. Is running a data base (being a data base aadministratoricult to do. What classes would i need to start? I am computer savy, but not with programming. Would i have to take programming or just know the basics of it.

A. I wouldn't say it's that hard, but then again I've been programming for years now. You'd have to have a background with a compatible language, such as PHP. I'd say it's cheaper if you buy webhosting that allows you to mess with MySQL (a database) and PHP and find a good website like w3schools.com or echoecho.com Personally, I think all specialty classes are overpriced and you could probably buy webhosting for about $3 a month.for your purposes.

A. Pythagorean Theorm. a^2+b^2 = c^2 30^2 + b^2 = 34^2 900 +b^2 = 1156 b^2 = 256 b= 16 16*2 = 32 Therefore, the base is 32cm long. 32*30/2 =480cm^2 Therefore, the triangle's area is 480cm^2.

What causes the base of tomato plants to turn black and white fuzz?
Q. The base of my tomato plants have turned black with a white fuzz on them. The ground around the plant is also turning white like a calcium deposit is building up. My sister used Miracle grow on the plants them added epson salt around the base of the plant.

A. Sounds like mold, you should transplant and try to spray a solution of 3 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide(standard first aid grade) in one gallon of water on the stalk and roots. Make sure you let the soil dry out before watering, over watering is one of the most common gardening mistakes. Also Miracle Grow contains salts so I wouldn't recommend using that and Epsom salts. Try Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 instead of Miracle Grow, it's cheap, simple, ORGANIC and works better than Miracle Grow. Plus you can use the Epsom Salts with it, be careful though because salt builds up in the soil and gives you problems later. Corn Meal will help control future mold and will act as a slow release fertilizer. Peace, SSSpaceman SSSpliff

How wide is the base of a Nero 4 Deluxe rabbit cage?
Q. All of the online websites list the width at the widest point of the cage, but I notice it curves inwards at the actual base. Does anyone know how wide the base part of the cage is? Trying to figure out if my furry friend is able to have an upgrade! Thanks!

A. It looks like even though it curves in it keeps the overall width of the cage. It looks way to small for rabbits though.

A. None, zip, not a problem what so ever. In the first place, it is in a stand-by receive mode and is not transmitting. It just sits there waiting for the proper encoded input signal to open it's squelch circuit, so it can receive the signal from the correct hand set. It then sends a very low level RF signal back to the remote hand set to complete the duplex path. When a land line signal comes in, it turns on the same xmitter signal and calls the hand set. In either case, the very low level (that's why it won't work over much of a range, if you take the hand set out side and start walking down the street with it) RF signal that it emits and at the frequency it works on, gives less "radiation" then you can get walking on the sand of a beach in… [cont.]

A. This is the perfect crust...in taste and in texture. Enjoy! 2 cups crushed graham crackers 1 cup slivered almonds 1/2 cup white sugar 1/4 cup clarified butter, melted 2 tablespoons caramel topping In a food processor, blend together the graham cracker crumbs, almonds and sugar until the almonds are ground fine. Pour in the melted butter and caramel while processing, until mixture is combined. Press the mixture onto the bottom, and half way up the side of a 10 inch springform pan.

What are the different type of base pairs in chemistry?
Q. I am searching for information on base pairs. Is there a good website for this info? Is it possible to change base pairs once they have been establised in the human body? Can a code be reduced by hydrolsis?
Asked by audine - Tue Mar 27 19:07:29 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The base pairs are ATCG (adenine, guanine, cytosine, thiamine). I believe you can. The base pairs contain hydroxyl groups (-OH) groups that can be hydrolyzed to attach other bases to it.

What's the difference between higher vegetable oil base than a lower vegetable oil base in margarine?
Q. What's the difference between higher vegetable oil base than a lower vegetable oil base in margarine. (other then more vegetable oil) Bought stick margarine today and one is 80 percent vegetable oil and the other one is 65 percent vegetable oil which would be better for baking and why?
Asked by Byron - Thu Aug 20 13:59:49 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Manufacturers produced margarine by taking clarified vegetable fat, extracting the liquid portion under pressure, and then allowing it to solidify. When combined with butyrin and water or skimmed milk, it made a palatable butter-substitute. The base percentage indicates the percentage of fat versus water or milk. This means that if margarine is 80% vegetable oil, the other 20% is water/milk, salt, emulsifier and flavor(s). Three main types of margarine are common: 1. Hard, generally uncolored margarine for cooking or baking. (Also known as Shortening ) 2. "Traditional" margarines for such uses as spreading on toast, which contain saturated fats, are mostly made from vegetable oils. (Mostly salted) 3. Margarines high in mono- or… [cont.]

What is the difference between a base and an alkali?
Q. I should really know this, but evidently I don't, so any help would be much appreciated. Am I right in thinking an alkali is a soluble base that produces hydroxide ions? So would an acid be a soluble base that produces hydrogen ions? I'm so confused! Thank you and serious answers only please!
Asked by [Distressing] D a m s e l - Fri Apr 17 09:38:45 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. In most cases there is no difference. An alkali is a substance that produces OH- ions or causes OH- ions to be produced. That pretty much sums up the definition of an Arrhenius base. The picture is more cloudy for a base defined by the Bronsted-Lowry or Lewis theories. Those don't necessarily have to produce OH- ions. So it is possible that these bases are not alkalis. As for this statement, "So would an acid be a soluble base that produces hydrogen ions?" Heavens, no. An acid is not a base. An acid is a substance that dissolves to produce H+ according to the Arrhenius and Bronsted-Lowry theories. In the Lewis theory there is a much wider range of possible substances that can be acids since the acid must only accept electrons… [cont.]

How can I blend two different types of base colors that I used for my room?
Q. OK here is my situaton. The ceiling and side walls in my living room are a base white color. At the very edge of the ceiling and my four side walls I had a darker color, which I decided to paint base white to match everything else. After I applied primer I painted it base white but the new color is slightly lighter than everything else. How can I blend the two? FYI: It is Behr Semi Gloss Paint. The paint that I applied was supposely matched at Home Depot.

A. When you have several gallons of the same paint, there will be variations regardless of them supposedly matching it at the store. What you should do is get an empty 5 gallon can and mix all the paint together in it. That way all your paint will match.

A. Maybe you could look at the DNA strand and see if the person had a genetic related disease. Ex. DNA says that the person will have sickle cell anemia. (a swap of one of the genetic bases.) So you know that one of the three suspects has Sickle cell anemia..you can make the TV assumption that you have found the person's blood at the crime scene.

You will sign in to housing expect a waiting list. It can be anywhere from a few weeks to almost a year.

How much does the lycksele or the grankulla base chair bed unit cost from Ikea UK?
Q. Ikea's website is worthless. It tells you that you have to buy the mattress, cover, and unit seperately, but then never puts the base price for the chair bed unit on the website; it shows you the bundle price of several different mattresses. If you know what the base unit chair bed cost is, I would appreciate knowing.

A. About 89 for the single = Mattress & Frame About 130 for the double = Mattress & Frame BE careful - there are different types of Lycksele and the prices are different BOTH prices do not include the optional covers for Lycksele Grankulla - 89 Sofa - Small Chair type - 59 BOTH are with BASIC mattresses. THe mattress upgrades are the main cause of variance in price. ALSO - with Lycksele - make sure it has the upgraded locking mechanism with the plastic covers - if not - ask for them - they are free. This will stop fingers being caught if opened incorrectly
