What is the difference between a blank-firing handgun and the real thing?
Q. I used to have a blank-firer as a little boy and it was basically nothing more; a well-made toy using poor quality materials. In the news you hear about thugs who convert blank-firing handguns in to the real thing; if they are anything like my old toy, how on earth is this possible? Are blank-firing guns different now? Can a 9mm blank firer really take live ammuntion of the same calibre?

A. There are two different things you are referring to. There are actually "blank rounds" that can be placed in any handgun and fired, allowing the action of the gun to cycle properly. Dangerous materials, along with a flash of gunpowder will still come out of the barrel, but it will not fire a bullet. These cartridges are crimped at the top and look distinctly different. Most guns that use these rounds (prop guns for movies, etc.) have been modified to reduce the amount of dangerous material coming out of the barrel. A blank firing adapter is recommended for the use of blank rounds. There are also specific guns that fire blanks, generally called starter guns due to their use in starting races. A. If you got the money order at a bank contact them. They can find out who cashed it, when and where. Also if it has not been cashed you can have a stop payment on it. Depending on the amount it may or may not be worth it.

A. my documents can b opened automatically by entering explorer.exe in newtask option of task manager i dont think that there is such a problem i think its an virus attack or some kind of malware u better scan the system with symantec 9 corporated edition with latest update it surely a nice anti virus as far as my xperience with other anti viruses are concerned so just install it n scan or u just remove unwanted or doubtful startups from msconfig..it might help u to identify the process leading to that wierd cause.. dont b worry its just a small thing n gets removed easily..

A. It is harder than I imagined to find such a map. However, the website below has a really good interactive map, that you can add and remove layers from, so you can remove the plate names, or any other layer. Give it a try.

Q. I am creating a CD with movie quotes for a quiz I'm running. However, I would like a delay in between tracks to give people time to answer, plus give me time to prompt the next quote. A. Couldn't you could pause or stop the cd until the class is ready? But if you want a blank track I would recommend goldwave audio editing software. There is a trial version that will allow you to do this, just visit goldwave.com. Good luck!
