How do I keep my 2 male bulldogs from fighting?
Q. One of my bulldogs is 80 lbs & one is 50 lbs. The 80 lb one is the fight starter and much stronger than the other. They are really hurting eachother, like serious dog fights. We cannot even have them out together when we have company because they get excited and fight every time. They dont mean to hurt people but we are always getting clawed or bitten by accident. When they arent fighting they are loving on eachother. I dont want to get rid of either of them but if they dont stop fighting we are going to have to get rid of one of them. Any help please... they are both neutered, a little over a year old and only about a month apart in age. zackery_2008 if you will read in the all caps I wrote "They are both neutered" thanks everyone for… [cont.]

A. Are they neutered! Thats the main thing to consider here. If they're not neutered, it needs to be done now. If they are neutered, you have to teach them to get along. Establish the word "NO" with them. Once that word is established for anything that they do wrong, youre on the right track. Next when they fight, give them time outs, and again use the word no. They wont like a) being separated and b) hearing your voice reach the tone that it does...im sure this will help, just be patient. I wish you luck ok?
