Q. My mom is thinking about getting into the food and beverage industry. She wants to own her own business, but is looking to buy one that is already up and running that has made some mark on the area it is in. A. The recession is taking its toll on everyone. She should really save up and get a good paying job. Make sure she has enough backup money it takes time. She needs to take classes on sanitation etc.
