A. It could be approved. The requirements are not the same for the two types of visas. But they could deny it, if they think you are just going to skip out and not honor the terms of your visa.

How do I process my visa?
Q. Hello, I'm from Cebu City, Philippines. I'd like to ask something, because I was told that If you want to process a spousal visa you should go directly to the Korean embassy, because I want to apply for a Korean spousal visa. Actually my husband is not Korean he's just working there and he's a Canadian. I just wanna know, do i have to go to manila to process it? or is there any other way for me to process it? because the agencies here in Cebu City don't process a spousal visa for Korea. Hope i could get the best answer.thank you and more power
