A. You say you are planning to send an application. That means you have not even started your application process and you are thinking that you will fail. If you believe that, then do not apply. What the steps are and what is expected from you at the interview. I am sure that there are LIC's who have just passed the interview and may be able to give you some tips on how the interview went. If so, please contact them directly." A link will then take you to the contact information for the Manila embassy's contact details at: I do agree with the above answerers in the sense that they will require you to have excellent references and may ask for security screening too. A. You do need to improve your english. Read through the below website - Canada immigration (main) (immigration) (skilled worker category) You do NOT need to pay anyone any money to emigrate. Yes there are fees to pay but you will pay them to Canada directly. The forms and guide will tell you how to pay. Most of the time you can fill in the forms on your own and do everything yourself. But if you apply as a skilled worker, you will need to improve your english a LOT to be accepted. You will also be required to do a IELTS test. Also skilled worker category from Manila is currently taking 5 years to be processed.

A. Legally, there's nothing I know of to stop you from going back to the Philippines and then legally going to work in Canada with a visa. However, you're not going to be able to hide the fact that you were an illegal alien in the US all these years. The Canadian consular officer might disqualify you for having bad moral character.

However, you're not going to be able to hide the fact that you were an illegal alien in the US all these years. The Canadian consular officer might disqualify you for having bad moral character.
