Goin around cebu city from mactan island for clubbing?
Q. Im planning to have a holiday in mactan island. Is it easy to go from mactan to cebu and back in the evening to wee hours? Also how is the clubbing scene in cebu city? Any good? People Im not talkin about the sleaze. I mean goin to places where I could listen to house music, chill out music and other sorts of techno. Im no sex tourist. I apologize if you all misunderstood.

A. No problem with transportation. If you have lots of money, you can even hire a car/van or whatever kind of transpo you'd like for a specific period of time. You can rent it with or without a regular driver but of course the rate varies on that. Just be careful with taxis as some drivers woudl offer the "pakyaw" system which is really illegal but of course if it is in the wee hours, you give some tip to the driver like around P50 would do but not the "pakyaw" way. Clubbing? It's still good, if you're talking about ladies in the club stripping (Haha!) They are everywhere especially along Mango Avenue, but if you're talking about pubs/disco houses/restobars, they;re somewhere located somewhere uptown, most famous as of now is the Paseo in… [cont.]

I lived on Luzon 1970-1975. but I lived in the Provence of La Union, under the summer capitol of Baguio in the town of San Fernando. I did buy a new 1971 Honda CR250 from that base south of Manila. At that time I was 16 years old. I kind of remember it being Olongopo City. anyway stay cool and always wear your Burong Tagalog on Sundays;)

I love that its a bright mix of modern urban spots like Ayala Center, SM Cebu and Mactan Shangri La. But the old world charm is wonderful too. Home is where the heart is, so expect a transition period of 1-2 years where you will miss your current home, friends and culture. But Cebu will grow on you the longer you are there because the people are so friendly and warm. As a foreigner, be friendly and you'll find the transition easier. Where can I find a tennis school here in Cebu City?
Q. Even if I'm not the athletic-type, is there a chance for me to play good tennis. I don't like the sport before but when I saw someone played tennis, I kinda like it already. Is it expensive? A personal trainer will do. Thanks!
