A. Plan your vacation ahead, maybe 3-6 months before your target dates. you can buy cheaper plane tickets via cebu pacific or air phil. We got ours around p6k/head back and forth, since we booked early. I've been to the ff resorts in Boracay..all at Station 01 ranked from BEST to just okay.. -> _clean room and yummy food _not beach front but accessible to restaurants and mall _1 min or less walk to the beach _with pool incase of storm _new facilities, clean room _beach front but far from restaurants and mall _near Discovery Shores but has no pool _old facilities (other rooms are scheduled for renovation), room is okay _beach front and most accessible t

A. Dave's Straw Hat Inn is a quality resort with good rates and a high standard of service - www.davesstrawhatinn.com Orchids resort nearby is also good but not quite the same standard. You can also check Blue Mango Inn - www.bluemangoinn.com and Turtle Inn - www.turtleinnboracay.com- to see if their low season rates suit your budget. But if your friend is coming in May she need not book in advance. Some of the most affordable places are in the station 3 area (near Orchids) and you can just walk in and get a good price. There's plenty of availability. Some cheap resorts include Austrian Pension, Tree House, LM Resort and Melinda's.

is there a campsite at boracay? been searching this on the internet but cant find an answer.?
Q. since travel cost to boracay now is very cheap, camping there will be a good option if you wana go to boracay and not want to spend money on resort accomodation. if theres a campsite there, you can just bring a tent, and set-up and enjoy nature. do hope there is a campsite, just like in puerto galera.

A. those were good old days when all we had to do was find some wide space near the beach and pitch camp. they don't allow that anymore, they say it's for your own safety, though i suspect it's just not good for business. note: if some small resort has some vacant area, the owner might allow you to use that. but that vacant spot is getting rarer nowadays
