Which California community college has the cheapest tuition fees for INTERNATIONAL students?
Q. I really want to live and study in California. I understand California community colleges are quite cheap, and even for internationals the fees are considerably cheaper than anywhere else. Problem is there are just so many to choose from! Can someone point me towards a school that is reputable (has good academic reputation) and also cheap? So far I've looked into Butte College which seems reasonable (compared to the tuition fees Internationals pay elsewhere). Thanks in advance!

A. The state sets the tuition for all of the community colleges in the state. So it will be the same wherever you go. You might find some differences on fees, but that's it. So pick one that you like and try for that. As far as where to go, it depends on what you want to study.

A. Each university has its own fee schedule and all are on the relevant websites. Expect to pay 15,000+ a year in tuition. The best in London for Computer Science would be either Imperial College or the London School of Economics. You can do a four year undergraduate MSc at Imperial.

A. If you'd be willing to go to New Jersey, Rutgers New Brunswick is one of the cheapest colleges in the country at $8,564, and so is Rutgers Newark, at $8,209. Baruch is quite cheap: In state: $3400; Out of state: $7000; Fees Per Credit Hour: Instate - $135, Out Of State - $285; Additional required fees: $120. So is Hunter--$4,349 in-state, $8,989 out-of-state (tuition); $3,250 (room and board) And Fordham: Out of state tuition: $32,720; room and board: $12,300; in-state tuition: $32,720; in-state room and board: same (all the same) Total cost = $45,840

Can you move to another state your senior year and apply to colleges in that state and be an"in state" student
Q. I wanted to know if i could move to texas my senior year and live with my brother (who is 23) and apply to a college in Texas (like UT) and be counted as in-state therefore getting a cheaper tuition fee and a higher acceptance rate. Can you do that? How long do you have to be apart of the school in order for you to be "in-state". Does it matter?
Asked by neverforgotten - Mon Aug 27 21:23:04 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The rules are different in each state, but usually, you have to live in the new state for at least one year (and up to 3 years) first, and they may require that you have evidence that you did NOT move there for the primary reason of going to school there.

There are only 42 (soon to be 43) universities in Australia, all of them are fully accredited and tightly regulated, therefore the quality and recognition of their graduates are equal from wherever university you are studying from. The Australian uni's offering Master in Chemical Eng are as follows (no particular orders): RMIT Uni (www.rmit.edu.au) Curtin Uni (www.curtin.edu.au) Uni of Adelaide (www.adelaide.edu.au) Uni of Newcastle (www.newcastle.edu.au) UNSW (www.unsw.edu.au) Tuition fee & requirements will be available in those websites. Shoud I study at Monash University in Melbourne or at Singapore Institute of Management in Singapore?
Q. If I study at SIM, I will get a bachelor degree awarded by University of London and all lessons are taught by mostly Singaporean teachers, but with cheaper tuition fees. And If I go to Monash, I will be taught by Australians teachers, but I will get the exacty same certificate from Monash in Malaysia, which the tuition fee is sooo much cheaper there in Malaysia And it is unfair. However, I don't want to go to Malaysia. I want to go to Monash in Melbourne, which is very expensive. Which one is better?

A. I guess its not the school but its the people you mixed with. My cousin was from monash Australia and he's doing pretty well after graduation. My ex-colleague was from Monash Australia and she had a swell time in Australia, touring and having fun. But i guess the student mix in Australia can be more fun-loving? Singaporeans students are ultimately still more on the serious side. But Australia is good if you want some overseas experience or you are intending to be an Australian PR. But if your family is not rich and you are just getting a general business degree. You're just wasting your money studying overseas. I've got friends from SIM too. They're also doing pretty well too. Well, the fact is, at the end of the day, no one gives a… [cont.]

A. Hi contact the Australian embassy there in the US they will give you all the paper work. when you are accepted as an immigrant you will be able start the waiting period, not sure how long that is... it not that long, then you will be able to go to UNI as a local, you will be able to defer your Uni fees till you are working and able to repay then under the HEC fees, the fees are also heavily subsidized by the government. Not sure of by how much but nothing like what full fee paying overseas students pay. You will like Adelaide its nice here, Its a very relaxed city, lots of great food, wine and beaches. Our culture here is like more like a small country town. And the Uni is between the city centre and the botanical gardens, a short… [cont.]
