Q. I am English and my wife is Colombian and is with me here in UK on a 6 month visit visa. We have been invited to my sister s wedding in Greece, but the Greek Consulate tell me that as she is on a visit visa here in UK, she would need to return to her country of residence to be able to get a visa for Greece. Are there any other countries within the Schengen zone that would issue my wife a visa so we could then fly from that country to Greece to attend the wedding? Asked by Maku - Fri Jan 23 13:44:05 2009 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. On her visa status in the United Kingdom she cannot get a Schengen visa to Greece in general, she would have hold a residency in the UK to apply for a Greek visa. But she can get a Schengen visa on the fact that she is married to a EU/EEA citizen. The answerer at the consulate (mostly a call center) did not give the right information. She should apply for a Schengen visa to visit Greece and attach certified copies of the marriage certificate and of your EU passport and she will get the visa approved without paying any fee. When she applies for the visa she should make reference to the attached source. Source(s): Answered by GPapenburg - Fri Jan 23 19:42:58 2009 What is a better beginner snake? A corn snake or a colombian boa? Q. I am looking to get a snake. I am in college right now and at the pet store they said that people lose corn snakes really easily, and that the colombian would be a good way to go since they are docile but I am concerned with how big of a tank I will need once the colombian reaches it's full size. Asked by Brittany N - Sat Oct 25 16:49:11 2008 - - 11 Answers - 0 Comments A. Corn snakes are better starter snakes. To give you an idea about the tank size a full grown boa will require, Google:The Big Boa Page and look at the pics posted there in the gallery. Some boas can require a room sized enclosure. Most boas tend to be docile but, they also can be unpredictable. Corn snakes attain a manageable size that 1 person can easily deal with. Columbian boas may start out as good small beginner snakes but, because they get big, will eventually do better with advanced keepers on down the road. The saftey for all snake keepers and others is a major concern at all times. The bigger the snake is that you are keeping, the more favorable it is for that animal to hurt you at any time, even it is accidental.
