Anyone have a recommendation on the best home based business for selling cruises?
Q. My wife wants to work from home as a travel agent selling cruises. There are tons of companies on the internet, and we cant figure out which one is best, reliable, not a scam, etc. Any recommendations?

A. I work at home as a cruise specialist. We have to go to Florida for a week of training at our own expense, but it is all legit and part of the company that is Number 1 for selling cruises in US. For more info, feel free to contact me through my website.

Has anyone ever heard of the home based business YTB Travel and Cruises and does it make a profit or not.?
Q. I have always wanted to work from home, and it makes since to have a travel website, because almost everyone orders their flight and vaction deals on the computer. Has anyone heard of this is this a scam. The company is listed on the Better Business Bureau Website. I have researched it, and have not found anything bad about the company. The company works with priceline.com, hotels.com and so on.

A. I've had better luck with other things. I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and I made $500+ in October, over $700 in November, $900+ in December, $700+ in January, and over $850 last month. They are free to join. Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment. And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.

Legality of sex cruises and certain types of Role Playing sex business's ?
Q. are these sex cruises on cruise ships legal? , and if you participate outside of U.S. jurisdiction(where it's legal), will the U.S. extradite and prosecute you? also for these role playing sex business's ... like "Dr's office's" , "Lawyers offices", "locker room orgies" , "all girls soccer teams" , "rape warehouses (with the safe words of coarse)"... what is the legality of these types of things. I've been reading, and they say it's legal, but i don't want to go to jail for something so silly

A. used to be a cut and dried issue. crimes committed outside u.s. were non prosecutable here. since we became the worlds police force there is no longer a clear line. people are prosecuted every day for things that occurred outside the us. the fbi and cia are also not above kidnapping fugitives from places that will not extradite. as for the legality of the businesses you'll have to check with your local authority. they are legal in some places and overlooked in others.

I know Swissair have some great deals at the moment. Also a some airlines are now offering 'Premium Economy', a step between economy and business.

what if i start a booking with a travel agent and they go out of business?
Q. I am going to be booking a cruise to Europe and I wanted to start as soon as posible so i can get the best placement for my room on the cruise ship. What happens if the travel agent goes out of business / bankrupt in the 14 months til my cruise date? Do i loose my money or continue to make payments to the cruise place or what? Thanks for your help what is a site that gives that type of information
Asked by Hot Dawger - Mon Mar 16 09:28:00 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you book through an agent, get travel insurance. Or avoid it all by booking directly with the cruise line - although getting travel insurance here is good too. With the current economy you never know who is going belly up next. Travel insurance will be available many places. But for the information for the above poster, check out cruisecritic.com to help get information on travel agents and reliable companies.

Any good suggestions on getting our money back? I'm sure we aren't the only ones going through this mess! I read office location is "shut down". kleighs ...WE DID. Do you like to cruise or are you thinking about going on one soon?
Q. I just started my own cruise business selling cruise vacations. I want to get some information on those who go on cruises. 1) What would you expect from someone that you would buy a cruise with. 2) Is there anything that someone selling a cruise can do that would make you say wow and use them? 3) If you have never taken a cruise, what would you want? Thank you for taking your time to read and hopefully respond.
Asked by Jake - Thu Dec 4 08:52:00 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. I have been on 25 cruises. What would I expect - best case would be that the person selling the cruise has been where I want to go. Can do - besides the price and travel arrangements take some time and go over the layout of the ship so one has an idea where things are instead of just hoping they find things. Would want - maybe like Princess have a DVD that shows some of the place one will travel to and they also offer layouts of their different ships. I did use a travel agent (cruise planners) for the first cruise the next 24 directly threw cruise lines.

Sydney Harbour cruises and charter boats - which is the best one for 20 people to cruise Sydney Harbour?
Q. I'm going to Sydney next month. There are a zillion charter boats it seems. I want a really good one for a business function for 20 people. Must be impeccable and have good food and service.
Asked by Robert - Sun Sep 6 13:05:54 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. That's easy. the company with the best boats, best service, best crew and hands-down best website is Flagship Cruises. They have some amazing boats. Check out the Cambria on their site - replica of a 1928-style gentlemans cruiser - been featured in magazines. Pretty expensive though. Commissioner II is another good one - I took a cruise on that - its an old restored timber boat - very classy.

IS Resort Destination Club a legitimate business or are they a bunch of frauds?
Q. I received a call on Friday Feb 27 2009 from one of their representatives informing me basically that I had won an 11-day cruise to Florida and the Bahamas for all 4 members of my family. They needed my credit card confidential information so that they could process the registration fee of USD598 (the only payment I would have to make) before sending me a package due to arrive in 21 working days. Do bona fide organizations do this?
