Q. D. Conductor A. Acid B. Base C. Salt D. Neither acid nor base 1. I am an electrolyte and have a pH less than 7 2. I have a bitter taste and contain OH -1 3. I feel slippery and am most household cleaners 4. I am formed from the reaction of an acid and a base 5. I contain H in my formula , according to Arrenhius, and can accept an electron pair 6. i taste sour and conduct electricity 7. i have an electrolyte and have a pH greather than 7 8. I have a pH very close to neutral, or 7 i know these are chemistry questions...how? you ask! i got them in my chemistry class...I am in Need of ANSWERS! (To the questions)

What is the biomedical importance of crystalloids?
Q. Give the importance under Biochemistry fileld

A. In patients who are hypovolemic (i.e., volume depleted as a result of hemorrhage, extreme diarrhea, etc.), crystalloids are infused (an I.V. is started) to replace the lost fluids and, in patients who are critically ill, this can be lifesaving, especially in cases where you are waiting for blood to be prepared for transfusion.

I've never liked to use colloid to increase oncotic pressure in a hypotensive subject, but some other disagree
Q. do you agree that I should be using crystalloid because I've not seen any recent literature that using anything other that Lactated Ringer's is gonna make it great, right?

A. i may not be a doctor, but i studied enough pharmokenetics to know that what you are saying sounds completely kosher.

Colloids vs. Crystalloids - hypovolaemic shock?
Q. I have always been told that with hypovolaemia if a patient is already hypotensive that colloids are best to bulk up blood volume quickly, but recently I was told that normal saline or Hartman's are the first port of call - is it the case if hypovolaemia is spotted BEFORE bp drops that crystalloids are more effective? Confused

A. a bit about hypovolaemia first (im going to use medical terms because you obviously have some kind of background if you are familar with the difference between colloids and crystaloids!). its a bit like tennis, remember how they score the games 15, 30, 40. hypovolaemia is the same, except in terms of percentage fluid loss. ( you should be able to calculate how much of the total body water is in the patient as well by using the theory 70% of body weight is water of which approximately 30% is in the blood). the added category is >40%. in an average individual, up to about 30% fluid loss can be compensated for i.e. there are physiological changes that occur but these changes facilitate dealing with the situation successfully. tachypnoea is a… [cont.]

Do modern Feminists think that natural child birth is the worst pain...?
Q. Are there any other forms of pain that modern Feminists can imagine that may be more profound and more acute than natural birth? I imagine that, perhaps, there are some but I can't be sure. Would slow incineration be more painful than dissection of the face whilst maintaining adequate crystalloid (LR or NS) infusion such that she remains haemodynamically stable & conscious for the duration of the application of of a strong acid to the exposed tissue? I'm not sure what's more painful. What are some things that might be more painful in the mind of a modern Feminist than the process of natural child birth?

A. LOL notice how the women with first hand experience in child birth are getting thumbs downed for not feeding this myth that child birth is the worst pain of all. This goes to show that the victim mentality is rampant. They won't even take to word of someone who has been through it multiple times. How far do you have to have your head up your butt in order to that blinded by feminism? And no there are far worse pains than childbirth. Say burning for example people don't go around intentionally burning themselves daily. Yet untold numbers of women give birth every day. And if it was so painful none of us would have brothers and sisiters now would we. No doubt it is painful but to say it is the worst pain especially in light of the… [cont.]
