Q. What is the difference between the three symbols used to represent potential energy? I would like to know the difference between the symbols used to represent potential energy. There is the E with the little p, U, and the O with a line through it. Is there a difference when using them or should they be used in different types of equations. I have looked around a little on the web but could really find out the difference. I'm just going to be using it for a joke sign to represent lazy people. I don't know the history of the different letters. Have fun with it. Answered by nonoelmo - Mon Nov 10 00:52:27 2008 What's the difference between Tenebrism and Chiaroscuro? Q. I've been trying to determine the difference between Tenebrism and Chiaroscuro. After reading a number of articles, I've only been more confused. Can someone put it in layman's terms what the differences are? I know that the difference is subtle, but what sets one from the other? Gale, I researched the subject before I asked. And while I appreciate your response, I do recognize that from a Wikipedia article I read a few minutes ago. I'd appreciate it if no one copy and pasted any quotes from articles. Hi, tenebrism is a form of chiaroscuro, which is as you know, is a term used to describe paintings whose effect depends on the use of contrasts between light and dark. Tenebrism is an emphatic use of this, the contrast between light and dark, to create effects of dramatic naturalism. That's the best I can do, both the same but tenebrism more pronounced and concerned with naturalism. Chiaroscuro=Rembrandt, Tenbrism=Caravaggio Hope that helps Answered by Moll C - Sat Apr 14 03:48:20 2007 What is the difference between stainlees steel and stainless look on appliances?
Q. We are getting ready to buy a new refrigerator and have narrowed our choice down to a few. There is a 100 price difference between one that is stainless steel and one that is stainless look. What is the difference? In the store we cannot tell any difference. Is it worth the extra money to go full stainless??? Asked by Pamela G - Mon Apr 9 11:22:35 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. The stainless look gets you the look of stainless steel without the price and extra care of the real thing. I'd go with the stainless look! Real stainless steel is going to show fingerprints badly and needs to be cleaned with special cleaners weekly to keep that shine...
