What foods digest out of your body quickly?
Q. I want to eat foods that wont stay in me, you knwo waht I'm saying? So what are some foods that digest quickly, so I'm not starving myself?

A. If you read up on Food Combining - it teaches you to NOT eat foods that digest differently together. Fruits are the easiest and fastest foods to digest, and for that reason should always be eaten separately from proteins, grains, and vegetables. They are further classified into acid, subacid, sweet, and melons based on their levels of acid and sugar and have their own set of guidelines for combinations. Digestion time: 20 minutes to one hour. All vegetables can be combined with one another as well as with proteins. For optimal digestive ease, it's best to combine only nonstarchy and low-starch vegetables with grains. Digestion time: 30 minutes to two hours. Grains can be eaten alone or combined with nonstarchy and low-starch vegetables. [cont.]

How long does it take a cat to digest wet/canned food?
Q. I know dry takes about 8-12 hours to digest and raw about 2-4 hours. But what about canned food?
Asked by Carmen G. - Fri Jan 2 23:25:37 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The digestive process takes place immediately. You are probably wanting to know when the food hits the colon or how long it takes a pill you have slipped into her food to take effect. About one hour.
