What is a good golf driver for a resonable price?
Q. I am starting to golf and am in need of a driver. The driver that i have now is not accurate at all. I hook them very badly. Whenever i hit with one of my friends drivers they go pretty straight. If you could tell me a good driver that will make the ball go straight and far. Im looking for accuracy over distance. I would like the club to be around $100-$200 dollers. Thank you.

A. Go to your local Dick's Sports store. They have last years drivers for $200 or less (new). Check out the Cobra Speed, Callaway Big Bertha 460 and Taylor Made r7 draw and r5 draw drivers. Nike Sasquatch/Sumo is also a good one. Avoid Walter Hagen (junk), Titleist (designed for skilled golfers) and the Cleveland HiBore (odd looking/sounding). Also Dick's Sports have a PGA professional on site. Ask him/her for their opinion if you need extra help.

What causes driver education teachers to be so impatient and yell at learners?
Q. Could they really be expecting students to learn instantly? Do they not realize that students HAVE to make mistakes in order to improve? Why are so many driver ed teachers so verbally aggressive with nervous students who are trying to learn?
Asked by Do Tell - Thu Mar 27 23:52:34 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Well, it's probably their way of coping with their job...an incessant facial twitch doesn't instill much confidence in their students, either :-) Please understand - it can be scary as all get-out getting in the passenger seat with a constant line of teenagers that could get in an accident at any moment. I can remember my driver's ed teacher, he had a brake on the passenger side as well, and unconsciously slammed it on whenever he got nervous, lol. Not fun when you're trying to cross a busy intersection! They do realize you have to make mistakes, it's just a high stress job. The good thing is, once you pass the class, you never have to see them again :-)

How does a Rally driver interpret his navigators directions?
Q. How does a rally driver interpret directions such as "Plus one minus crest, over hill plus 3, ect, ect." I could never really understand how the communication between a driver and his navigator works, its fascinating how they can communicate in such a precise code moving at speeds upwards of 130 mph on a narrow winding dirt course. How to install downloaded driver from the Internet? There is no executable file?
Q. I've downloaded drivers from Internet driver archive. However, there's always no executable file for installing. There are only files with the tails of *.ex_ *.da_ *.dl_ Do I have to install any extra-software to execute these files? Thanks a lot !
Asked by Phuong Nam - Wed Aug 13 09:25:58 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Once you download these drivers extract them then go to device manager and manually install. Find the device you want to install the drivers for (if you're not updating the drivers and have no drivers installed for it you may see a yellow exclamation mark beside it). Right click choose to update driver, browse choose the location that you've extracted the driver to.

A. I had a friend who was the motorcycle in this scenario. The driver was charged with nothing and he wasn't able to sue her, he has over $100,000 in medical bills, lost most of his pension and almost lost his job. She was actually working at the time of the wreck, she is off scott free and he is going to suffer financially and physically for the rest of his life.

Is it legal for the passenger of a permit driver to be drunk?
Q. I have my driver's permit. In the state of Kentucky, is it legal for the licensed adult driver sitting in the passenger seat to be drunk? I've heard it's not, but it doesn't say anything about it in the driver's manual. Dad doesn't believe me, and I'm tired of playing Designated Driver. Any help would be appreciated. Also, the reasoning he has is that it's safer for me to drive while he's drunk, as opposed to him being drunk. How would I explain this to a cop in case I ever get pulled over?

A. In CA, it specifically states that the adult driver must be able to take over the vehicle if necessary: "A parent, guardian, spouse or adult 25 years of age or older, who has a valid California driver license, must be with you when you drive. He or she must sit in a position close enough to take control of the vehicle, if necessary." I went to your state's DMV site and what a mess! No wonder you can't find anything. I did go to another site and found this (Last Sentence): "While driving the permit holder must be accompanied by an adult driver a minimum of 21 years of age. The adult must sit in the front passenger seat directly next to the permit holder." Unfortunately, it looks as if your Dad's right, so you shouldn't need to explain… [cont.]

What does showing a professional driver driving on a closed road prove about how a car handles in real life?
Q. If car companies really want to impress people then why don't they show commercials of the car being driven in actual traffic instead of closed off roads? After all, most drivers are neither professsional nor do they have access to a closed course so what good do commmercials showing what a professional driver on a closed course can do?
Asked by D.L. Miller - Fri Jun 13 09:14:21 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The aim is to show the car's capabilities under extreme situations. Any car in production can accelerate, turn, and brake under normal driving circumstances, but these displays show that the car can perform in more extreme circumstances, such as accident avoidance scenarios.

A. Couple of ways: Start--> Run--> Type in "dxdiag" (minus the quotes) When it pops up, the first tab has your System Information Or You can right click My Computer then click Properties, but that won't give nearly as much info as the first method.

Q. How important do you think driver input is to the development of the 2009 car? Compared to previous years... I think driver input may have something to do with Mclaren's poor pre season results. I think driver input may have something to do with Mclaren's poor pre season results.

A. It is very vital for the Team as it is the only practical Implementation of the experiments done in the Wind tunnel by big experts and designers...Because the Wind tunnel is only a theory thing, juz a piece of paper, what ever was on the interim model comes on the Original car only by tests and feed back given by the Drivers... And this year itz almost Every thing U can get before the Australian GP...!

How does Ford driver fatigue warning work?
Q. I just got a new FG Falcon and it says it has a "Driver fatigue warning system" what does it do? Can it tell if you get tired somehow?

A. It just times the length of time you been driving. At some preset time limit (2 hours on my Audi) it will give you a warning. As simple as that. Good Luck...

how to renew driver license to arizona if original license is from california?
Q. I'm planning to move to Arizona end of this year. My driver's license renewal is end of next year. What will i do? Do i need to take another written exam? Like start over again.

A. You have 6 months after you move to a new state to get a new drivers liscense with your new states address on it. Don't panic. It happens all the time. Just find the DMV near where you live and tell them you moved. You may need to bring your social security card as well.
