What is the ideal age to for a child to start pre-school?
Q. A lot of people and even some educationists are of the opinion that a child can begin pre-school from age 2. I find this not acceptable. Children in general are inquisitive and eager to learn. That does not mean that they can start pre-school from age 2. I think from age 4 or 5 is a good start.

A. Well where my sister lives they start kids in preschool at 18 months.But I feel that around 3-4 years old.That is the age headstart classes start.

Q. Recently India's largest Board CBSE has indtroduced sex education for X class using topics like arousal, masturbation, ejaculation, intercourse and teenage pregnancy. This has become a matter of big discussion, Top educationists, scholars, senior politicians, social activists and reputed intellectuals including former Chief Justice of India Shri R.C. Lahoti and representatives from Jains, Sikhs, Muslims, Christians and several other communities have strongly warned the Union HRD Ministry and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) not to introduce sex education in the name of Adolescent Education Programme at all.

A. Sadly yes. Teenage pregnancies can happen in any countryIts also good for teenagers to know about their bodies. It depends on how sex education is taught too.You can teach the opposite . Here we have a scheme where teenagers have to look after a baby which is a doll but they must look after it like a real baby. That would teach teenagers not to have sex and I think that could work in India. This issue is a hard one.
