how to record the sound of natural radio and other electromagnetic phenomena?
Q. anyone could explain how to manage to hear and record the sounds of natural radio and electromagnetic phenomena, using cheap or DIY equipment? i know these phenomena do not produce directly audible sound, but one i saw someone using a sort of antenna that picked up these "waves" and made them audible.

A. The cheapest possible solution is to but a cheap AM radio and tune it to a frequency between transmitting stations. Voila, you're listening to a combination of anthropogenic and natural radio noise/signals. Obviously, this limits you to the AM band (520-1610 KHz for standard medium-wave AM redios). There are natural sources of "radio" signals over pretty much the entire electromagnetic spectrum. If you want to explore these, have a look at the sources given below.
