Emotions are subjective experiences, or experienced from an individual point of view. Emotion is often associated with mood, temperament, personality, and disposition. The English word 'emotion' is derived from the French word émouvoir. This is based on the Latin emovere, where e- (variant of ex-) means 'out' and movere means 'move'. I'm a musician (piano and guitar) and usually when I'm writing a song I just mess around and play different chords. Once I've got the melody down I just write lyrics that complement the chord progression I've made. I also like to write short stories when I'm bored.
