An entity is something that has a distinct, separate existence, though it need not be a material existence. In particular, abstractions and legal fictions are usually regarded as entities. In general, there is also no presumption that an entity is animate. Entities are used in system developmental models that display communications and internal processing of, say, documents compared to order processing. An entity could be viewed as a set containing subsets. In philosophy, such sets are said to be abstract objects. Sometimes, the word entity is used in a general sense of a being, whether or not the referent has material existence; e.g., is often referred to as an entity with no corporeal form, such as a language. It is also often used to refer to ghosts and other spirits. Taken further, entity sometimes refers to existence or being itself. For example, the former U.S. diplomat George F. Kennan once said that "the policy of the government of the United States is to seek . . . to preserve Chinese territorial and administrative entity." The word entitative is the adjective form of the noun entity. Something that is entitative is "considered as pure entity; abstracted from all circumstances", that is, regarded as entity alone, apart from attendant circumstances. From Wikipedia under the

Do I need to file US taxes? Q. My annual income is less than $30,000. I have never entered US during the whole tax year. I work as an individual consultant or contractor. Some of my friends are saying, since the income is from a US entity, I will need to file US taxes but won't have to pay any tax (dual tax treaty between India and US). But, on the IRS site, I couldn't find any mention of individuals earning a salary while not physically present in US. Does anyone know whether I have to file the taxes or not? Asked by Sauda - Fri May 2 08:28:00 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I think you are confused about exempt person (does not exempt you from taxation) and source of income. First of all, you are in India the whole year. You are a nonresident alien. If you are an alien (not a U.S. citizen), you are considered a nonresident alien unless you meet one of the two tests:Green Card Test or Substantial Presence Test A nonresident alien usually is subject to U.S. income tax only on U.S. source income. You do not need to report income since you do not have source of income that is effective connected from the US. Q. First off, something I never understood, and could NEVER get an honest direct answer for (even at 15) is why would GOD create an entity that by it s own choice could suffer forever in hell (fire and brimstone place) ? People, I would love to have someone answer that for me. Also, please don t use our teacher as an example, because that would imply that GOD made entities that if taught from child birth a different spirituality than us, they would suffer forever. I actually had this question a few months ago. You need to do a sole proprietor. The company is in your name only. From there you can file to become a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Other than that, I'd say that you have to look into the the options you have because I don't know what you have in mind for a company or what the company plans to do. Hope this helps.
