What is the spray called that you use to make a finished puzzle stay together?
Q. My family wants to frame puzzles, but then my sister suggested this type of spray that makes a puzzle stay together? Is there such a thing? What is it called?

A. Just use modge podge. It is probably loads cheaper than a spray specifically for puzzles.

Questions about to "glue" and "frame" finished puzzle?
Q. Why people need to glue finished puzzle? (I live in Vancouver, BC, Canada) Where can I buy glue that is for finished puzzle? Any tips about gluing puzzle? I heard that you put the glue at the top of the puzzle (the surface that picture on it) Do I use a thin card board paper behind the puzzle before I glue? Or printer paper will do? I mean the puzzle is alread thick, I worry how to fit into the frame if I use card board paper as the back the of puzzle. Any tips about framing puzzle? what if i cannot find a frame that is exact size of the puzzle?

A. The local Wal Mart carries puzzle glue that you apply with a brush to the whole puzzle when it is done. My daughter mounts hers on thick card voard and then hangs them. You can go to a lumber yard and buy furring strips or some other type which I cna not remember what it is called and make your own frame and then use a staple gun to staple the puzzle to the frame.

How do I save a 700 piece puzzle progress that is not finished to be worked on later?
Q. I have it on some felt cloth. Could I roll it up? How do you do it?
Asked by skahhh - Fri Dec 22 17:47:06 2006 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments

A. If you can transfer it to a piece of felt or thick fabric, you can roll it up in the fabric. Then just unroll it and it stays put. I like to put thick felt on the bottom and top of the puzzle, then roll it up.

Is there something else I can use besides puzzle glue to hold my puzzles together?
Q. A while back I was in Wal-Mart buying a puzzle and they had this stuff to hold your puzzles together but instead of being the regular glue it was like a big sticker sheet that you stuck to the back of the finished puzzle. I didn't buy it then and now I wish I had because since then I am unable to find it again. Has anybody ever heard of this stuff and do you know what its actually called?
Asked by trollbluerose - Tue Mar 4 11:50:48 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. One alternative would be acrylic medium. It comes in mat and glossy. One would paint this on the finished puzzle sort of gluing it together. This is the stuff artists use when they want to thin the color of acrylic paint they are using but want more body than water. This can normally be found by the artist's paint section.

Q. The sizes are like 9" x 7" and 15" x 11" and 18" x 14" which I can't find in any regular store. And custom frames are very expensive... On the Internet?

A. Yup, make your own frame, using wood moldings from home depot, or your local lumber yard...at least you get to choose the width and design of your molding. Use Elmer's wood glue, and frame that puzzle! Happy Framing!

A. You may be having the same problem I did. When they give you the scavenger hunt clue, do not close the clue (do not click on the "x"). Leave the clue on the screen and press the button that backs up your point of view (I think it is the B button but it might be the 1 or 2 - it is whichever one will back up your view and will not close the clue). Then go find the object and click on it with the clue open.

A. Actually nothing, the game is over after solving all the puzzles. You can still play but it s kinda boring. You can start a new game by setting different goals for yourself e.g. solving puzzles faster, or you can try another level of difficulty. Sequel is coming out this winter!!!

A. It could be possible for you to make your own pieces for the puzzle out of card stock paper and just try to duplicate the colors. That's what I would do. You might try a thrift shop or second hand store.

I am trying to solve Rubik's Revenge. I have one corner piece to finish the puzzle. How to I get it to flip?
Q. My problem it is just one corner. I do not have another corner I am trying to flip with. The puzzle was new and fine and never taken apart so it should not be the puzzle.
Asked by Carrie O - Sun Apr 20 00:09:08 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Look at this site. But the person above is right. If only one corner piece is messed up then you need to take apart the cube and reassemble it.

How do I complete puzzle 15 in Virtual Villagers?
Q. Puzzle 15 is the on where we have to drag a builder to the area below the food bin which then the builder will discover a treasure. Please help me, it's the only puzzle I have not finish.
Asked by Chepul - Mon Sep 17 21:29:42 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. the buried treasure. Only a master builder can locate it. Grab a builder and slowly move him around that area until it says he sees something, or "Can something be buried here?" Then drop him. May take several tries. Other villagers will join in. Your village must also have Level 3 in Construction and Science. The buried treasure can be found south of the food bin in the sandy area. It is located in line with the temple and food bin.
