A. A solution will have solute completely disolved in solvent; in a colloid the susbstance doesn't properly dissolve and small particles will remain suspended in the solvent; in a suspension the particles also don't dissolve but will eventually settle and are larger than in a colloid

A. Liquid cleansers are abrasives (silica or alumina) suspended in soaps and water. Blood is a suspension of cells in serum. Colloids are suspensions of particles that are so fine that they never settle out. They look cloudy. I think milk is a suspension/colloid.

Do Yahoo take suspension appeals more seriously than other appeals?
Q. And is it true that they don't really read your appeal and they just review your account? And is it true that if you have been suspended before on the same account but the appeals have been successful, it affects your account? For example, if you have been suspended and had appealed succesfully, does that suspension notice go towards a further suspension or does it just disappear when you appeal? Please, I need proper answers. Do not copy and paste from the Yahoo database to answer the question because most of the time it doesn't.

A. Two sucessful appeals , one came straight after the other ,however since then I have got more violations without suspention , I myself think the nature of the offence determines weather or not you get suspended , for example a violation on the grounds someone did not like you oppinion would be a lot easyier to argue then a violation leading to suspention because of a racist comment

A. 1. Compounds. Hexane, carbon dioxide, water 2. elements. hydrogen, nickel, copper 3. mixtures include all solutions, suspensions and colloids. 4. Solutions are salt water, sugar dissolved in water. 5. Suspensions are muddy water, Ocean water. Anything that has the particles settle on the bottom. The particles in suspensions are larger than 10^-7 meters 6. Colloids are like milk, toothpaste, jelly, blood. The particles do not settle on the bottom and you cannot see them without a microscope. They are in between 10^-9 and 10^-7 meters size you should have learned this in school. You were probably goofing off in class when the teacher was talking.

Who is responsiblte for vehicle damage that results from an unmarked road hazard?
Q. For example, I did several hundred dollars damage to my suspension when I hit a severe dip in the road. I was going the speed limit, and there were no signs. Last night, I did another several hundred dollars damage to my tires and rims when I hit a curb that was installed in the middle of the road with no markings or lighting. The tow truck operator told me that tons of people are hitting the curb and requiring tows. Who's responsible?
Asked by McBush - Tue Nov 4 15:29:59 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. If your car is not capable of navigating an undamaged road at posted speed limits without sustaining physical damage, whose responsibility is that? Unless you can prove that the road is substandard or that the local government is delinquent on maintenance, you don't have a case when it comes to the dip in the road. As far as the curb goes, was it in your lane? If not, why weren't you?

How do I know if something is a solution, mechanical mixture, suspension of colloid?
Q. Could you give me some examples? What's paint? What's paint thinner? Chemistry is confusing! thanks :) suspension OR colloid*** not of :P
Asked by peace turtle - Mon May 12 16:41:19 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. A solution is a mixture of two or more substances that is homogeneous. Any part of the mixture is identical to any other part. Examples: air, brewed coffee, brass, etc. A mechanical mixture is just that. It is heterogeneous (nonuniform). Examples: Raisin Bran cereal, pizza, mixed nuts, etc. A suspension (or colloid) is when a very finely divided solute remains suspended in a solute and will not settle out. Examples: fog (liquid water in air), blood, paint, milk, smoke.

How did Shakespeare achieve a suspension of belief?
Q. If possible give an example.
Asked by Hogan - Tue Jan 22 07:26:30 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Both the previous answerers are right, however Shakespeare helped the audience suspend disbelief by creating characters and situations the audience could identify with and feel either sympathy or hatred for. For instance, most audience members could feel sympathy for Romeo and Juliet and could get involved in their struggle on that level. At the same time, most of the audience would feel dislike for their unmoving parents who would not let the lovers be together. Audience members would hate Iago in Othello. They were very racist, but their struggle to sympathize with Othello would be aided by Iago's complete evil.

Is it possible to change Mahindra Bolero's rear- leaf type suspension to coil spring type?
Q. I have a Bolero-sportz (2003 model). It has leaf type suspension at the rear (I think all other models of bolero have the same). Is it possible to change or use coil spring type sustention instead of using leaf type. For example tata siera, safari and new Scorpio have spring type. Please help me to solve this...
Asked by Jacob - Tue Sep 11 13:45:34 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Yes it is possible to change the leaf spring to Coil Spring type. Lot of modifications will be required. If you notice, The leaf Spring connects the Axle with the vehicle. A coil spring cannot do it . You wil have to get a Tie bar made or use from Tata Safari etc. Then also you will have tomake moutings on the axle and body ( Under carriage of the car) . All this requires a very competent workshop . Also the mountings for the shock absorber might hav eto be changed. And then Saftey is an Issue when doing such modifications.

A. It is an absolute joke and an insult to any champion that has ever or will ever fight. If you've ever warn an 8 ounce Cleto Eyes glove, you know how hard it would hurt to get hit by it WITHOUT the plaster. With the plaster, you could easily kill someone. He shouldn't only be banned (for life, not just a year), but should get a jail sentence for attempted murder and anyone who has lost to him in the last three years should have it re-written to a win on their record. It's obvious he used plaster against Cotto as well, as he's posing for pictures after the Cotto match and he's got what looks like a blood stain on the plaster and that exact blood stain is also on the same spot and is visible after other matches he's been in (including the… [cont.]
