I am taking medical assisting right now, while finising up my Health Administration Degree?
Q. I'm finishing up my associate's degree in Health Administration, while also attending a medical assisting program. I'm going on to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration. I just want to be able to pay my living expenses while finishing my Bachelor's Degree. Does this seem like a smart/good move? Will this give me an edge when looking for a job?

A. It depends on where you live MAs are in high high demand in Atlanta so yes it is. I did the same thing but i went for Medical Billing and that field is not in high demand for people fresh out of school. So now I have student loans out the ass. And just be prepared to find a job on you r own because those career service people are big time liars... As far as Health Administration goes I would stick with business Admin. because its more diverse and you still can get in the medical field in High Rank with that degree because youll be a certified MA. Think about it!
