Wellbutrin and Idaho Medicaid?
Q. Does anyone out there know if Wellbutrin is covered by Idaho Medicaid?
Asked by jewels - Tue Feb 27 21:02:39 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. It depends on what plan you're under for Medicaid. (ie Part B, Part D...) Drugs are covered under some plans while other drugs aren't. You should contact Medicaid for the best answer. Or...after the pharmacy fills the precription...you can tell if insurance covers it. But the pharmacy is really the middle man to the whole situation..insurance spits back the amount that they are willing to cover..so there's no real way the pharmacist can tell you the reason why the drug isn't covered.

Ok So If I have Medicaid and I want to have my baby in California would it cover me?
Q. I have medicaid and I live in Idaho and I want to have my baby in california, if I go there would it cover it all since i have medicaid here in idaho??
Asked by Ur in My just like a Tattoo - Sat Mar 14 19:57:00 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you move to California, you'll have to apply for benefits there. As long as you meet the income requirements and you're approved, yes--it will pay for your ob/gyn visits, delivery, etc. NO insurance (whether it's private insurance, government, etc.) can refuse to pay your maternity benefits because it's a pre-existing condition. If the insurance has maternity benefits (some don't) and you switch carriers half way through your pregnancy, they have to cover you.

Pregnancy medicaid--need help?
Q. I got my pretty little blue and white Idaho Medicaid card the other day. I applied because I'm pregnant, and qualify for pregnancy medicaid...apparently. I hurt my back yesterday and am having really painful spasms and would like to get to the doctor. My problem is I don't know if this covers all medical or just prenatal care. I lost my job. I'm unemployed and can't find work. I make about 800 bucks a month. I can't afford to go to the doctor without some kind of insurance! Will my medicaid cover a visit to my physician to find out what's wrong with my back and if I can take anything to ease the pain?

A. Hm...I'm not in Idaho and I don't have a disability, but I came across this site the other day and you could probably find someone to ask who is in a similar situation there: www.disaboom.com It's like Myspace/Facebook, but for people who are disabled/differently abled. Otherwise, I would try calling the Idaho state benefits office, but you have probably already thought of that.

A. First off if you guys got married you have the right to add you instantly bc it is a qualifying event and if they didnt let you then you need to call and complain that is how it works otherwise that is illegal not to allow it exspecially since you got married...Make them add you!! give me there number Ill call them lol I have already dealt with the same problem...Call tell them it was a "qualifying event" (the marriage) and that they need to add you and pay for everything since that day!! trust me they have to, if you have a qualifying event then you are added immediately...but if you dont want to call them you could apply for financial assistance throught your dr or hospital which will show them what you make and what you pay out so they… [cont.]

A. All presidents pardon people including Bush who has pardoned rapist. Most presidents, including Clinton, never gave a pardon or anything else, to a person from his staff that was convicted of making false statements and Obstruction of justice! Clinton didn't even know the people, much less have him be a member of the white house staff! We know who leaked the name anyway. It was George Bush! The only one I can recall is when Ford pardoned Nixon, and that cost him a presidency! Lets see how many people Bush pardons his last day's in office!

Is there ANY insurance available that will cover a pregnancy that has already occurred?
Q. I have been self employed for about 4 years and since I have excellent health (haven't been in the hospital since birth, doctors a couple times in 28 years) I've never really cared much about heath insurance. My fiance' and I recently relocated to Las Vegas from Idaho and she left her job with benefits over 63 days ago (which I read somewhere constitutes a sizeable gap or something). We plan to get married in the next week or so so that when one of us gets benefits we'll both have them, however from all the reserach I've done, we're pretty much out of luck on having this pregnancy covered. We are probably going to have to go with Medicaid but I really don't want to do that. Long story short, I'm wondering if there is EVER a situation… [cont.]

A. You have 2 options (well, 3 really)... 1) One of you gets a job that comes with health and maternity benefits. (Pregnancy is not considered pre-existing on a group policy.) 2) She goes on Medicaid (if she qualifies). 3) You start saving now and pay for the prenatal/delivery expenses out of pocket. Try negotiating a cash price with the doctors/hospital. That's about it. Sorry.

A. you need to have him evaluated by a private [not state] behavioral psychiatrist to determine his risk to you, himself, & society. IF he is determined to be dangerous & unmanageable then you could , possibly, have him committed/confined to a state facility. [it sounds awful, but necessary] it sounds as if he needs to live in a structured, protective environment.
