How to transfer funds from Middle East to India and from India to UK for a registered UK company?
Q. My friend is a director of a UK based company but he is now resident in India and the sole agent of the company in India. Most of the customers of the company are in Middle East. It is a pain transferring money from Middle East to London because of suspicion of terrorism money and host of rules and regulations. Is there any legal method of having the money transferred to a bank account in India and then transfer from India to UK? The private limited company in UK is not registered in India so far. Does RBI and FEMA provide for any such banking channel?

A. Consult the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. You can select Indian schools and… [cont.]

How can I find businessmen from India to support my nonprofit in India?
Q. I am running a nonprofit organization in Southern India and I am trying to find donors to support our programs and projects. I believe that I might be able to get support from people of Indian origins who are working both in India and abroad. Does anyone have suggestions in how I can find a list of potential donors?
Asked by Adam C - Mon Apr 21 10:31:38 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Look for businesses and local offices of corporations in your area -- the best person to map who these are is you. Donors fund organizations they know. Invite them to come and see your nonprofit, to see first hand the work you are doing, the difference you are making, etc. Have media stories and photos that show the good work your organization is doing. You could even have a special event/open house designed especially for businesses. Emphasize the difference you are making and the results your organization can take credit for -- businesses want to fund success, not desperation for funds.

How can India respond effectively to Muslim Terrorism without killing millions of innocent people?
Q. Recently I asked how can India respond to Muslim Terrorism that is funded to a large extent by Iran. A number of replies were to the effect that we should use nuclear weapons against Iran. The problem with that is that we would kill millions of innocent people who had nothing to do with the terrorism if we did that. Is there an effective way of responding to Muslim Terrorism with out killing many innocent perople in the process? If so, please tell me what it is. Sultan 395 you are very foolish. Asked by Balwant J - Sat Sep 1 10:49:49 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. I think that the best way to respond is the way that former United States President John Kennedy responded during the Cuban missile crisis. Back then the former Soviet Union tried to install nuclear missiles in Cuba. President Kennedy responded by blockading Cuba. I think that the same needs to be done with Muslim countries that fund terrorism. The money that goes to fund terrorism comes for the most part from revenues those countries receive from exporting oil. India has a right to defend itself by blockading the countries that fund terrorism to prevent them from exporting oil. That will dry up the money available for terrorism and will not result in the loss of innocent lives. India can blockade Iran or any other country on its… [cont.]

India a developing country, will it be ever be developed?
Q. India is said to be backward in many feilds, do you know any reason? Here every one is involved in it or only some big politicians? Why then many big literates and good earning people leave India forever?
Asked by Ibrahim F - Thu Aug 14 14:01:18 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. India, is quite frankly, utterly confused. Because it's a post-colonial country. And that does make a difference. There was the ancient India, then the India colonized by Britishers and now - a India neither here nor there. The youth as such, never saw the ancient India. They never really felt the effects of post-colonialism. All they see is the after-effects of it. Which is generally a more - um - 'westernised' and globally exposed outlook The current politicians in charge are torn between 'global' India and 'ancient-wise-traditional -India'. They don't realise that it is, totally absurdity to wish for India to go back in time. Only the forward option is left. But that takes time. And we're a democracy so - India has to listen - to… [cont.]

A. places to visit depends on what kind of experience you want.for beaches-goa is great in the winters around the new year.cochin in kerela(for the backwaters, beaches, spas). if u r into water sports lakshwadeep is a great place but i think best time to visit it is in summers. if u want an ayurvedic spa experience go to ananda in rishikesh.its the best spa resort.if u want to visit historical monuments and do some shopping then rajasthan(jaipur, udaipur, jaisalmer, pushkar),delhi, agra(taj mahal, fatehpur sikri).

While Plutonium based research is also available, the estimated stockpile is not enough to be comparable to Uranium ones, and the specifications of these are not available publicly. The main series for nuclear transportation is Hatf." There for India is above Pakistan. What will be the effects of balochistan referrence in the joint statement of india and pakistan?
Q. Pakistan will undoubtedly make a mockery of india when india will complain of pak's terrorist activities after the next major terrorist strike. Pakistan will now have every reason to be happy because it can conduct widespread terror strikes across india and then blame india again for balochistan!!! Our days are numbered?

A. Can 'benefit' the either side. How Pakistan can be benefited, you've already written in your assessment. But everyone seems to forget he other side. Pakistan 've played a big gamble by including Baloch crisis in Jt Statement. Pak's allegation over involvement of India & RAW in terrorism in Pakistan is nothing new. Many times earlier they've alleged that Indians are being recruited to carry out terror strikes in Pakistan. Even few months ago, it was reported that two 'India Nationals' had been arrested for involvement in bomb blasts. To establish the involvement of India in Baluchistan, Pakistan must provide proofs. & if such 'proofs' are as lame as earlier allegations of Indian involvement in terrorist activity, that may create severe… [cont.]

Why is Europe considered a separate continent while India is considered part of Asia?
Q. Europe and Asia have been together for much longer than India and Asia and the boundary between Europe and Asia is less substantial than the boundary between India and Asia. KT Dyke: did you just make that up or do you have some support for your statement?
Asked by TC - Sat Mar 14 12:42:44 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The accepted boundaries of Europe and Asia came about for cultural reasons, not essentially geographic. It began with the ancient Greeks who recognised a boundary between their cultures and others in Asia Minor. As the geography of the region became more understood, the arbitrary division of Europe and Asia extended along cultural lines, between societies viewed as 'Asian' or 'European'. Some of the boundaries follow geographic features such as mountain ranges and lakes, but that's because it also it marked tribal boundaries. The accepted boundaries were established before the advent of modern geology and the understanding of plate tectonics.
