Q. I have an old beat up, wrecked, non running Saturn that we need to get rid of. Are there any companies that specialize in the cash for junk cars business in the central Indiana area?

A. Every junk yard in the yellow pages. But you must have the title in your hand in order to sell it. You can also donate it to a local charity for the IRS deduction.

Q. The original Lego Indiana Jones is $19.95, the Complete Saga (including the Crystal Skull) is $49.95. Is the complete saga worth the extra $30? My boys are 6 and 9, and they love Lego Star Wars and the Indy movies. Thanks in advance.

A. The Complete Saga does cover the first three movies like the original game, but the levels are completely new. It is not just a rehash of the same levels, although the storyline is the same. "The Complete Saga" includes 6 worlds, each of which contains 15 playable levels plus a few extra activities in the "hub" world and an extra bonus level. The first 3 worlds follow the storyline of the 3 older movies (1 world for each movie), while The Crystal Skull is covered in more detail in the last 3 worlds. So you are not just getting a few bonus Crystal Skull levels for the "extra $30", you are getting a complete new game. So if you like the Lego games, you could buy both and not have any duplication in gameplay (although you may get a… [cont.]

Q. The company I work for is holding an event for which they are mandating the supervisors make chili. This is not a request, and it is implied that those who don't comply will be reprimanded. However these supervisors will not be reimbursed any fees incurred due to or by the event. I need to know, according to local labor laws for the state of Indiana, is this a legal action?

Is there a statue of limitation in Indiana for hospital bills being collected through an attorney? What would happen if I stop paying them? I need help, because of the interest rate, the bill keeps growing. Is there anything I can do?

A. trouble with sol they start over once bill changes hands -- other wise it would be seven years --- if you stop paying they will just go to court and put lien or wages -- only way to get out is to get a part time job and throw all of the money at the bill!!!

A. Not sure what your municipality has adopted for codes, but the International Residence Code standard is 1:8. That is, 1 foot height increase with every 8 feet of run. Check with your local code authority or zoning office to make sure this is what they stipulate. Hope this helps.

They've got a Residence Inn ( ) that you could probably get a decent rate at (check the link for info, pics & online booking). Not all that familiar with the area, but it sounds nice! Have fun!

What should I do with the annuity part of my indiana teacher's retirement fund?
Q. I can leave the money in the Indiana State Teacher's retirement fund and draw at a higher interest rate. However, when both my wife and I die, no one will get the money. I could transfer the money to an IRA or something similar for a lower interest rate. When we die, our beneficiaries will be able to receive the money. What have others done in this situation?

A. It seems fair either way. You could transfer it to a lower interest paying IRA, but you would have less money to live on each month, but even worse, you could run out of money before you die. Perhaps each of your proposed beneficiaries would be willing to sign a contract that they will each give you, say $200 a month, to help support you should this occur (fat chance!). If you die young, your beneficiaries would get some money. If you keep the annuity, you'll have more money each month and it will never run out. Which should you chose? I like risk avoidance, so I'd go for the annuity. Your heirs will think of you for what good you did in life not for how much money your demise brought them.
