A. I guess what you're talking about is the impression they leave, and although I don't judge them consciously I can't help but form an opinion of them afterwards. That said, there are several factors that form my opinion of them (and also assesses how smart I think they are): - Vocabulary, and sentence structure (are the sentences coherent? Are they relevant?). I can't really explain it but I guess it's just the tone and manner in which they say it. - When arguing/debating, are their points valid? Is there logic? Do they bring up points I've never heard, or portray them in a different way? Do they think outside the box? - Thought congruency is no biggie for me because I think it makes the conversation interesting. If they jump from… [cont.]
